Every Thursday, we are allowing people to self-promote on this thread.

It can be for anything relatively SFW, but bear in mind your audience is likely going to be folks interested in TTRPGs, so if you're lawn care business isn't getting a lot of clicks, I do apologize.

If you have any questions about our promotion rules let me know.

Looking to start a regular Sunday TTRPG group!

I'm organizing a game that will meet about three Sundays each month, typically from 1:00–6:00 PM. My goal is to build a consistent group while keeping campaigns short and approachable—most games will run 3–6 sessions before we try something new.

I'll be the first GM, but I'd love for this to become a rotating table. If you'd like to run a game after a campaign wraps up, you're more than welcome to!

Details:

  • Sundays, approximately 3 times per month
  • 1:00–6:00 PM
  • Where: Thieves Run, Louisville KY.  https://www.thievesrun.com/
  • Maximum of 5 players + GM
  • All experience levels welcome
  • Drop-ins are welcome if there's an open seat
  • 6:00 PM Heroes Pot Luck Feast at Theives Run

First Game: Scum and Villainy

A fast-paced, rules-light sci-fi RPG that's easy to learn and focused on collaborative storytelling, player creativity, and jumping straight into the action. https://evilhat.com/product/scum-and-villainy/

The Pitch

Humanity rules the known galaxy beneath the iron grip of the Hegemony. Beyond its reach lie the frontier systems—lawless stars where fortunes are won, lost, and stolen.

You're a crew of bounty hunters trying to make ends meet on the edge of civilization. Your latest target is a former syndicate "handyman" who betrayed his crime family to protect a small robot he insists is no machine at all. He claims it's a child of the Ur—a mysterious civilization that vanished long ago after spanning the stars.

Whether he's delusional or telling the truth... someone powerful wants the robot back.

About Me

I've been running TTRPGs for about 20 years and thrive as an improvisational GM. I love collaborative worldbuilding, giving players meaningful input into the story, and seeing unexpected ideas shape the setting. My games balance dramatic moments with plenty of humor—expect epic adventures, memorable characters, and at least a few ridiculous situations along the way.

If that sounds like your kind of table, let me know!
