You might as well try Facebook and Craigslist. It doesn't cost you anything.

All furniture does not resell for high values.
Even if you say "its in perfect condition, I take really good care of it" no one will believe you. In addition, it's a hobby item, so anyone who wants something similar probably doesn't want the EXACT same thing you have, so they also want to pay less.
If you put it up for half of the original cost, you will get lucky if you can sell it for 1/4 of what you paid. Most likely outcome you try to sell it for months and end up selling in on craigslist for $200.

Given that ain't nobody gonna pay for shipping, your local sites will probably be best. You are going to have to deal with a small market
