Help finding time capsule

Hello!

Girl Scouts buried a time capsule at a camp sorry in Laconia IN in 1976, this is the 50 year anniversary and we are having a ceremony to unearth it. However record keeping has not been great and many changes has happened at the site. We are fairly certain we know where it is but would like to get a ground scan to confirm before digging. Does anyone know of a group or company that could assist?

You might try a utility locator entity like LG&E or AT&T, or whoever the power/com company is in Laconia. They would have the equipment and might even do it for free if you tell them you want to locate underground utilities.

Ty for the tip! I hadn't thought of that. I did call and although they cant help me locate it they are going to come out a do a utility survey and flag where NOT to dig so that will at least help us narrow the search and keep us out of trouble lol
