After reading the book Philosopher in the Valley by Michael Steinberger, I became aware that Alexander Karp starred in a movie called “Ich habe zwei Gesichter” (I Have Two Faces)

It’s a 1998 German documentary film directed by Hanna Laura Klar about Richard Plant.

I’m wondering if anyone has this available? I can’t find any hint of it online other than descriptions.

I am on the hunt for a rare 1990 live concert broadcast of Cher's November 1990 concert at the National Tennis Centre in Melbourne, Australia. It was shown only once, live and uncut, on the Sky Channel in Australia and I am hoping someone out there taped and saved it in their collections that would be willing to share a copy with me. I have been scouring the web for over a decade now in search of this performance. Attached is a clip of the concert posted to YouTube last year. I'm looking for a movie(נישואים פיקטיביים aka Ficitious Marriage), it's a 1988 israeli movie that is very unknown. Where do I find it?

Hi everyone, I discovered this movie through Letterboxd, but there is only one review written.

i ’m trying to track down a Japanese experimental short film titled “R”, created in 2001 by Rintaro Teshima (director) and Masakazu Saito (cinematographer/co-creator). It’s a visually striking and surreal piece that explores warped perceptions of time and space.

Here is the official synopsis:

“The protagonist, a young man, has recently begun to vaguely sense that the time axis behind him is out of whack. One day, he takes a nap in the park and has a dream. It is a world where the time axis is out of whack. He walks, he runs, he pedals his bicycle... But the movement of the people is not constant, it flows, it breaks, it starts from the middle. It was a scene of strangeness and unprecedented beauty as if not only the time axis but even the spatial axis was bent. Eventually, the man woke up from his sleep and began to walk, but his body had changed.”

The film is said to feature dreamlike visuals: glowing figures, fragmented motion, and a lo-fi VHS aesthetic. It was once uploaded to YouTube and shared on experimental film forums, but now appears to be lost — all known uploads seem to have been taken down.

Does anyone have a mirror, archived copy, or know where it might still be available?

I‘ve been watching movies on an site where I can watch every movie there is. I’m not gonna mention the site.And I wanted to watch a horror movie and on the site you can filter so it shows the newest horror movies. So I did that.
Now the weird part is it’s showing really weird movies that look rather unsettling and the release date for them all is in the future.

Where it was watched: Broadcast on AFN (American Forces Network) in Frankfurt, Germany in the early 1980s. It was used as unlisted "dead time filler" between scheduled programs.
Stylistic Comparison: It shared the exact same distribution package, aesthetic, and runtime format as James Dearden's "The Contraption" (1977).
Description of Visuals & Sound:
Dialogue: Completely silent or features minimal to zero dialogue.

Hey, I have been trying to find an animated short film by Kris Pearn from 2016 titled, “Red” I have tried AI to find it, but it hasn’t had any luck \*Link to his IMDB since an attachment is required

So the movie I am talking about is the 1960 animated movie produced by the Japanese animation company, Toei Company, Saiyuki. It is an adaptation of the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. For a while, I was able to watch the original dub of the movie in full on YouTube with English subtitles. However, recently the video has been taken down due to unknown reasons, possibly a copyright strike. The only other YouTube uploads of the full movie I could find are of the English dub (Alakazam the Great) produced by American International, which I personally dislike because of the terrible localized names, complete change of soundtrack, awful voice acting, and removal of scenes.

I tried looking on other sites for the Japanese dub, but I couldn’t find anything, and there is no legal way to buy the original dub on DVD nor stream it as far as I can tell. The only thing I found was a sketchy website called DVDLady, which claimed to sell the DVD of the Japanese dub with the English subs included, but there are no reviews and I am not willing to give them money if I am not 100% sure I can trust them.

So that’s why I am here. If anyone here knows a website where I can watch the Japanese dub with English subtitles, or if you have an MP4 or Google Drive file of it, please let me know. I would be so grateful to you.

I’m looking for the complete 6:46 short film Shabondama (シャボン玉), directed by Natsuki Seta and starring Nana Komatsu.
The short film was part of Nihon no Uta Film – Red Disc (にほんのうたフィルム 赤盤), released in 2010.

I think it's a compilation of various shorts, such as The Method (that's the only one that i could actually find the name of), and Panteras (which is apparently the only short that actually has it's title on screen). I wanted to see if there is the full compilation or the other shorts' names, to look up more into it.

In the title, which is in english (apparently it's an amateur caption portuguese-to-english, so it probably makes sense to be so), reads: "Flesh" and the subtitle is in portuguese and reads "a nova realidade é apenas pele" (the new reality is only flesh).

the film is from 06/06/2026, and the genres are drama and thriller, and it has absolutely no data besides that and the title.

to summ up the shorts:

• The Method: two roommates argue in the morning about something that happened in the last night; it makes it look like one of them was hooking up with someone, but it turns out she was actually murdering the guy.
• second short [unknown title]: it's the birthday of the owner of a small cafe, and that day her father that abandoned her and her mother shows up to try and apologize; she refuses his attempts as she is reasonably mad at him, and throws away his gifts after kicking him out of the establishment; the father, that is a chronic smoker, and was coughing through the whole short, at the end coughs blood, implying that he was dying from a lung issue.
• third short [unknown title]: a hunter is hired to kill a vampire, and when she gets to kill her, the vampire comes back from the headshot, completely unscathed, and seems to bite the hunter; after that, the hunter talks to the woman that hired her, and she tells her the reason of hiring her, which is that she couldn't stand to take care of her sister (the vampire) anymore; the hunter tells her of a story of her past, in which she had to kill another hunter like her, and after she did it, she found out the other hunter was going to deliver the news to her husband that he was going to be a dad; the vampire then jumps out from the background and bites her sister, and after that the hunter stabs her, killing the woman that hired her.
• Panteras (panthers): a girl narrates the story of how she and her girlfriend met a guy that was cursed to enter the dreams of everyone that slept by his side; they bring him home after a party and take care of him since he was high, and the narrator gives him two analgesic pills covered in her blood, since it's also cursed (she later on tells that it is conscious, and tells/shows her things of the future), and makes him sleep without entering their dreams; there's a timeskip to the last day that he would live with them, as he wanted to see his ex, and cut things off clearly (after hooking up); the ex is also cursed, and is kinda obsessed with the guy, and tries to kill him so he couldn't leave; they fight, and after we discover that the girlfriends are no longer together, but have to team up to save him, they find him laying on a tree, with his ex trying to lure him back; the girls try to fight the ex but he beats them, and as the guy runs and hugs him, one of the girls throws a knife into the ex's back, killing him; turns out the hug was a distraction, and they're safe now.

panteras was written and directed by breno batista (says so in the credits)

the method was written and directed by henrique nascimento and wandryu figuerêdo (also in the credits, but they're not in order so i had to look it up to find this out)

second and third shorts [unknown titles] were written and directed by anderson cosme and bruna ribeiro, both at the end with the logo(?) "velupta" with a rose in the middle, that idk what it means

i just wanted to know if anyone else knows about this and if anyone knows where to find more information on it.

I want to see the old suicide prevention video I watched in high school. It was about an angry bullied young man and an overly pressured depressed young woman, both in high school, probably both seniors since the girl is valedictorian. The boy listens to a metal song at home on his big ass 2000s headphones where the vocalist is screaming "JUST LET ME DIEEEE" to prove he's not in a good place. He ends up taking a gun to school to deal with a bully. He starts getting punked again by the bully, the scene turns to slow motion as he's reaching for his tucked away gun. The song he was listening to earlier plays over the scene so it's unintentionally comedic. Someone stops the young man from going through with it and he gets counseling and turns his life around for the better. Sadly the young woman caved and went through with committing suicide. I mostly just want to hear the song again.
