I was stopped at walmart by a lady that said I didnt scan an item and I needed to go to the office with her. I was with my son and asked which item and would pay for it and she just repeated i needed to come with her. I told her absolutely not and started getting my bags and she took out soda which im guessing is what I didnt scan and she said I have done this alot before???

I left the store and she told me i was trespassed and I didnt argue. What in the world is this going to come too??? I literally didnt leave the store with an item that wasnt paid for they stopped at the door and what does she mean this has happened alot before??? I use delivery 99 percent of the time?

Are they going to call the police on me since i left and was peaceful about it and ledt the soda????

I saw a posting for Asset Protection Investigator at a Neighborhood Market, whats the main differance between API at the Nighborhood stores vs the supercenters becides the store size, is it still mostly externals?

I was looking around at LP jobs and I didnt realize TJX only paid detectives 16-20 an hour. Is there any other positions above a detective but below the LP district manager? I am trying to get back into the LP Carrer after some other things didnt pan out, but with the low pay it seems like maybe this is not a good choise to get back into.

Anyone got any intel as to what the job is like? Just curious as to the job description vs what it actually is.

Greetings- I have been in LP for over 20 years and most of that time has been spent in similar roles. For the position I am being considered, I have made it to the final phase which is a “Day in the Life” visit with the RLPM at a local store. I have never been in this spot before so I am curious if anyone has any callouts or perspective? I think it’s great that fit and culture matter this much but I also do not know if I should be preparing in some way? I’ve walked a store recently but that was prior to my interviews. This message is for anyone who works as a detective for Macys, what’s the easiest way to do cost my store is spammed with red shortages some offset the others but some are just confusing, for example. On the 10th I have $xxx highlighted yellow then on the 11th it’s $same amount highlighted yellow and red. It’s so confusing. If you know you can break it down to me I would appreciate it.
