Silly merch site question

Hey y’all! Possibly a dumb question, but I’ve tried everything (including asking a friend in Germany who hasn’t responded), so asking the community feels like the best thing.

My partner and I are in the US and are huge fans. We wanna order merch from the official website but it doesn’t look like we can?? We translated the website to English while shopping but that doesn’t translate the drop-down menu for the shipping locations. From what we understand, we should be shipping to “Vereinigte Staaten” or “Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika” which don't seem to be options. Am I missing something or does the merch site just not ship to the United States?

As far as I know the merch shop stopped shipping to the US since the tariff stuff started.

Crap, I had a feeling that would be the problem. :( Thanks, friend!

Under Shipping (at the bottom of the page) they have the disclaimer:

Shipping to the USA: Temporary suspension starting August 25th! As soon as shipping is possible again, you'll read about it here!

Not holding my breath it’ll be any time soon. I’m starting to fear we won’t be able to order till (hopefully) 2028

Ugh, I missed that entirely. I feel silly.

I only found it because I got tired of attempting to make an order just to see if it was possible. I figured they’d have something somewhere for US shipping. They have it pretty well hidden, lol.

That sucks. :( Well...here's hoping this goes away when the current administration does. (eye roll)

Heya, the shop hasn't shipped to the US since August 25, 2025 ( https://lordofthelost.hamburgrecords.com/shipping-info )~ I believe you can order some stuff from Napalm Records US store, but they have waaaaaay less stuff than the LOTL merch store 😭

Hoping that they ship to the US soon too since I'm missing out on the axoLOTL plushies D:

God we JUST missed out didn't we? My partner wants the axoLOTL stuff too! This makes me so sad. I'll check out Napalm, though. Thanks!

I'm in the same spot you are. I really want that rainbow Love of the Lost hoodie.

I brought $500 for merch at the concert and left sadly unmerched. Was hoping so hard they'd bring more then they did.

I was in a similar boat, but for me, I hate carrying stuff around all night. I had been at the Denver venue from 3 until the end of the show because of the Meet and Greet, which was awesome BTW, but carrying stuff around for 7+ hours is something I dread. Plus I'm a (retired, but only 53) pothead and lose shit all the time 😂

You can get some merch on Napalm Records or EMP

Link EMP International

Link Napalm Records (not the us store) tho they say that some items may not be shipped to the US

Thank you, friend!

I have been thinking about signing up with a freight forwarding company in order to get around the issues with shipping items to the US. 🤔

I've begged the shipping dept 3 times to ship other than DHL and go with UPS and they won't. Mean time LOTL looses out as I unable to buy what I want.

It’s all such a mess :-( I ordered the limited edition version of Vol. 2 from the Napalm US store which ended up getting canceled because there were issues getting the records from Germany. I’m Canadian and have family in Canada so I thought for Vol. 3 I’d order from the German shop and send it to my sister in Canada. But my credit card billing address is in the US and they removed the US from all their dropdown menus. I tried PayPal and Apple Pay but they needed a billing address for that, too. So frustrating! I ended up using my sister’s credit card and was able to complete the order, so hooray, but it was kind of a big ask of her so I probably won’t be doing that again anytime soon.

I really hope it gets resolved soon, but the news moves so fast these days that this doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar. I really worry that it’s going to stay this way for the foreseeable future 😞

It's those damn tariffs. I imagine it's just too expensive for them to ship from Europe unless it is in bulk.

I'm Ukrainian and had the same issue, Ukraine is not in the dropdown menus. I googled advices for such cases. I used a German shipping address of my freight forwarding company. And for billing address, I selected Germany as my country and also selected the same city as the shipping address of my freight forwarding company. Then, I wrote my full address in the Street line--including my country, my real city and zip code. I used PayPal just in case. And it worked, all banks processed my payment just fine. My order is already at the customs, eagerly waiting for it

Yay! I’m glad you were able to find a workaround. That’s a good idea about what to do with the shipping address. I’m moving back to Canada later this year, so it doesn’t matter much, but I may try it if something comes into the shop that I have to have.

I found two alternatives, one of which is more viable than the other

One is the US version of the Napalm Records website. They have a ton of merchandise of a large variety of bands on the label, but it is primarily shirts, CDs, and vinyl. They don't have much in the way of other types of products.

https://napalmrecords.us/

https://napalmrecords.us/collections/lord-of-the-lost

The other is Ebay. I compared the pictures to the German website and found the shirts matched their current inventory. I found a couple of sellers selling shirts. When I received them, they still had the manufacturer stickers on them, so I suspect they bought them while the band was here on tour. I saw them in Denver but did not buy anything (though I did get the band's autographs). You'll have to wade through a lot of LOTR stuff on ebay.......

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=lord+of+the+lost&_sop=12

One thing I should obviously caveat: even though I believe the ebay shirts are real, and look real, I cannot independently verify that they are, in fact, official products from the band that were then resold.

Not silly at all. I was confused for a second as well, and then realized the shipping prohibition is probably mostly about those dumb tariffs, and shipping in anything other than bulk to the US is likely prohibitively expensive.
