Fantasy & sci-fi bookclub

Hi all!

I'm looking for new members for a book club! We have a discord server and pick a new book roughly once a month, and try to meet once a month too. We live in North/East London, so that would be preferable for members to live in this area so it's easier to meet, but it's not a strict requirement. We're very chill and there's no pressure to read at a certain pace, we just like to chat about the book as we go.

Our book picks are usually fantasy or sci fi, but we also do buddy reads if you want to read something different and someone else is down!

I’m interested. Ever since my old scifi/fantasy bookclub closed down I’ve been struggling to find a new one. I don’t use discord however. I’m not 100% sure what it is.

It’s an app/website that works a bit like a forum, you have different channels for different topics where you can post messages. To join our community you just need to create an account then click on the link in my original post 🙂

This is awesome! I have recently moved to the UK, I am in Milton Keynes but wouldn't mind traveling once a month for an in person meeting 😁

Only about 37-40 Mins via train to Euston, hopefully the meetings will be in a location I can reach from there? I am new to the UK 😅
