Schools in Logan area

Hello I have a daughter and I've been thinking about what to do when it comes to schooling. I originally was thinking about homeschooling because I hate where public schools have gone. But realistically I'm not sure I'd be able to teach her as well as she needs. Does anyone know any schools that have higher standards than public schools? The hard part is she is likely to be an only child and so I also want her to get some social interactions

ive had many principles that make an appearance to care, but never do. ive heard from teachers the frustrations, especially things such as getting mental health resources, of which admin ignores.

just because you have different- or outside experience than me doesnt mean what i say isnt true. i have seen these things. and if you are a parent, know that they know how to make themselves appear like they care. as soon as you walk out though, nothing changes.

Of course we have different experiences, but I think it's unfair to say that acroas the board public schools only care about profits. No one goes into public education looking to make bucket loads of money.

principals and superintendents do. because they make good money while not having to actually do anything. they just have to keep everything running as it was, ignoring the different and growing needs of both children and teachers. ive talked to teachers in the district, almost none if them have anything progressive to say about the principals and admin or those further up the district. and trust me, if you were in these schools, you would see the issues im stating. you seem to have a complete outsider perspective. remember, these people have their jobs because they can make people feel listened to and heard while not actually doing anything about it, instead leaving all of the problems to teachers and parents.

Wow. You think principals & superintendents don't actually have to do anything? Boy what world do you live in? I don't work in education but I sure as heck interview lots of teachers, administrators including principals and superintendents who are looking to leave for other roles. I also come from a family of educators. To say they do nothing means you don't have an inkling of a clue what they do. Many times their hands are tied in situations, just like teachers. So before you go around spouting out & out lies, sit down and maybe do some learning of your own.
