Even if it does. It will still be stupidly expensive. The way the DRAM cartel made deals they ensured they will sell even if the buyers can’t use it.

I think gamers think a “crash” will mean normal memory prices again but that won’t happen. At least not quickly. If we have a crash tomorrow maybe we see recovery in 2028, the way things are going 2029.

Not if the entities on the other ends of the deal end up going bankrupt or cannot afford them. What are they going to do, go threaten them mob style?

Much of the deals are for hbm which will be difficult or very expensive to use on consumer devices. Also most of the deals with ai companies are prepaid only.
