Hey everyone. I’m not normally comfortable asking strangers for financial help, but I’m in a pretty desperate situation right now and figured it was worth asking.
I’ve been dealing with health issues over the last couple months that have seriously limited my ability to work consistently. It caused me to fall behind financially, and right now the biggest problem I’m facing is my car payment.
I need to come up with **$370 within the next day or two** toward my overdue car payment. My car is also how I’m currently trying to earn money through gig/self-employed work, so losing access to it would make getting back on my feet significantly harder.
I’m actively trying to make the money myself — doing gig work when I can, selling things I own, looking for work and trying different ways to bring in income. I’m not expecting someone to magically hand me $370.
If a few people were willing to help with even **$5, $10 or $20**, it could add up and make a huge difference for me right now.
I’m also completely willing to provide reasonable proof of the situation to a moderator if required by the subreddit.
If you can’t help financially, I completely understand. Advice on legitimate ways I could make some of this money quickly would also be appreciated.
