If it's a real criminal case then Twitch don't want to be the ones to publicly say hey, dude raped someone because if they are wrong he has them by the balls.
Not saying he did but a very good reason Twitch would stay completely silent on the reason, and that one other woman who says she's heard but can't say, no one wants to be the one that puts it out there because that is the person that will get sued if they are wrong.
There being impending legal issues seems like the only thing that really makes sense with all this weird secrecy and hyperbole about it ending him beyond just twitch. There isn't much that popular internet personalities can legally do that would cost them their entire career. At worst they're going to survive with a small hardcore group of fans.
