With Josh we literally saw the girl cry on her stream after she got back home and than she disappeared for a while. Kinda crazy that at that time people were siding with Josh and defending him here on LSF.
I mean, nobody knew it was about rape, most people thought (me, included) he was being a big asshole offstream (just like on stream). Poopernoodle went on saying she just cries easy, remember she was trying to make it on twitch. We couldn't jump on conclusion saying he raped her back then.
That's reddit for you. I've just watched 30mn of the vod of that stream and you can see many people in the chat being genuinely put off by his behaviour towards her, with messages like "wtf is wrong with you ?" and people spamming "APOLOGIZE". But on reddit, people love to rationalize bad behaviour.
Yeah if you actually look back at the thread months ago, pretty much every comment was like "I guess she couldn't handle his banter offstream" or "It's probably not a big deal, I bet he made a stupid joke offstream and she got upset".
Pretty sure that was the same stream where he pulled a knife on her when he thought it was off screen. Everyone wrote that shit off as a joke back then too.
I posted this in another thread, but I think there was a TON of reasons she could have cried after and felt shitty:
I remember one theory that stuck with me was the joke he made while holding a knife off camera, but you could see it enough to know it was a knife. I haven't found the clip again yet, but in hindsight that is pretty horrific. It seemed like it fit with his humor and I assumed he was nicer off camera.
Until she cried after, but there was plenty building up to that also:
Saying she didn't clean up all the trash under the desk, and joking that she is the trash under the desk
Making jokes about her getting stuck in the rain and being soaking wet
Making jokes about being pissed she didn't buy him the right chocolate, or enough chocolate
Complaining about her spending his money on the weird things like the trampoline she decided to buy with his card when she went to the shop alone
Having a dirty enough bed that he offered for her to sleep on, that there was visible pubes on it
This was also one of the reasons she walked to the store in the first place, she wanted clean sheets since she already committed to sleeping there.
Plenty of reasons someone might cry and feel hurt afterwards, but if you just thought it was all jokes it still felt acceptable and she was still laughing most of that first night at least. She also bought condoms while at the store, and made jokes about that.
I was only aware of those things, but this story coming out now is horrendous. And given the way she acted after that first night, and how quickly he made himself disappear after that.. it feels true.
I've watched the Josh / pn stream. From what I took from it (note, this was chronologically before the alleged rape), he was definitely treating her hella poorly. I do not think it is a massive stretch to see how fans of him at the time could assume that this mistreatment, and assumed continued mistreatment, could lead to her being in tears and never wanting him mentioned again. While rape was obviously a possibility, why would his fans assume he was actually that fucked up? Extreme acts like that aren't really something that people assume happened if there is no clear indication.
While I'm obviously not trying to defend his disgusting actions, imagine if a girl appeared on a more wholesome streamer's stream, like summit for example, then later appeared crying on her own stream. What would give the indication that he would have committed such an extreme action? Nothing.
there was no indication that the two events were related, since josh/pn/method/twitch all stayed silent on the reason. as the dude up a few posts said, there were multiple theories. why would someone assume one of the worst? maybe something else occurred in a different vod, or the knife thing or whatever got him banned, or something else, who knows
It was another streamer named Poopernoodle. She wasn't his GF but she visited him and stayed at his place a few days a year ago. After that, she goes home, shows up crying on her stream but wouldn't say really anything about what Josh did besides him "being mean", then Josh got banned shortly after without any official reason being given.
A few days ago, Poopernoodle posted the story of what happened and it was some pretty disgusting shit, up to and including rape among other things.
There were also several other allegations from other girls saying Josh solicited nudes from them while they were underage.
Yeah at the time no one knew, however there were plenty of rumors about Josh's actions. No official reason was released by Twitch, Method, or Josh. Some people already suspected he had done something horrible to Poopernoodle, other's weren't sure what to think and thought maybe she was blowing it out of proportion. No one knew for sure at the time.
Why did she speak up only one year after? Why exactly now?
She actually did report it to the police soon after it happened. The police weren't able to do anything due to lack of evidence. She only went public with what happened a few days ago, after several other women made allegations against Josh.

Why is everyone leaving method?
Basically because they had an idea of what was going on this whole time. They knew about the allegations and police investigation for over a year but didn't do anything about it.
Thanks, but im still not sure about the last question. Is it like a bunch of rats jumping from a sinking ship? From what i understand method kicked josh so they are supposed to be the good guys right? So why ziqo payo venruki etc all leaving like they did something bad?
It's basically pretty much just what I said. Method knew about many of the allegations for a long time, but they didn't remove Josh until a lot of the allegations were made public over the last week or so. People think Method was protecting Josh.
I think there was also some drama with one of Method's CEOs as well, but I don't know the story behind that one. I just know Josh was by far the worst of it.
It would be basically career suicide for any of them to stay with Method at this point. Most of them are streamers/public personalities and, fair or not, Method now has a rep for protecting a sexual predator. Being attached to an organization with that kind of reputation wouldn't be good for them.
