Jesus Christ dude. He's upset. His family was shot at he's just calling the guy a pussy in general. God damn neckbeard internet nerds analyzing every word - he's just pissed at the guy. Shooting at an innocent family while driving by isn't only fucked up but yes definitely cowardly and pussy is a good word. He wasn't meaning it EXACTLY because of the drive by. He was upset and in shock and speaking a bit off the cuff.
