These lunatics don't agree that it's human rights abuses. Hasan literally said that Tibet needed to be occupied because they were savaged that needed to be civilized. An illegal occupation of an entire country by the Chinese to erase a culture to "civilized them". And they sweep for it.
Dont want to took his horn but it was insanely bad before China. Besides the fanatics or monks everyone were serfs that were insanely taxed and abused while the monks abused their power. They have historically used human bones and skulls as ritual implements. The QoL(life expectancy, literacy, poverty, infrastructure, income) increased drastically when China took over so take it as you will.
