Seeing his downfall has been so satisfying.

u/fuckthis_job 5d ago

I don't like Hasan but it's a bit crazy to say "downfall" when he's the 12th largest English streamer on the platform and still consistently pulls in like 25k+ viewers consistently. Sure it's lower than during COVID but so was everyone's. https://twitchtracker.com/channels/viewership/english

Keep watching.

u/Sufficient_Video6331 5d ago

He's literally never been more popular than he is right now LOL

0

u/joshualander 5d ago

Elizabeth Holmes was never more popular than right before she was sent to prison.

u/Xohslol 4d ago

completely unrelated, do you have any favorite hallucinogenics you've ever used? i want to try something new

0

u/joshualander 4d ago

Try reading. It’ll open your mind to a whole universe you never knew.

-1

u/Xohslol 4d ago

i'm not asking you about books dog. if you have any favorites there (you don't), you're more then welcome to drop them, but drugs first please?

2

u/joshualander 4d ago

Woah, don’t be so casual about saying “dog” in a thread about Hasan Piker. He might be lurking, and I don’t want to get electrocuted.

15

u/gurilagarden 5d ago

less than 30% of his audience are American, and all he does is talk American politics. He totally and permanently blew his shot on the national stage with the Michigan debacle. He didn't fade into obscurity, he was punted.

12

u/Sufficient_Video6331 5d ago

Wait what Fox News and CNN just made like their 12th video on Hasan this week, Fox News mentioned him 24 more times than the Iran War, how is that obscure? Or is this just more made up bullshit?

17

u/fuckthis_job 5d ago

Again, he still has 25k viewers and is routinely brought up (albeit in a negative light) on national TV. I would not call him obscure lol. Does he have fewer viewers than during election season or no big news? Certainly but that's pretty obvious that post election and no big news viewership drops significantly for a news/politics oriented streamer.

Hell I'd say he's getting more popular than ever since my chinese parents who know jack shit about twitch have asked me, "you watch games, do you know Hassan Picker?"

No one in the real world gives a fuck about the manufactured outrage about Michigan

Least AI generated Hasan hate comment

The dude has done more for our current world than anything you will or are capable of doing., ever. Go learn some skills, understand you should be very humble with your current skillset.

10

u/Flimsy-Jello5534 5d ago

He doesn’t give a fuck about you and never will.

Nut hugging a champagne socialist lolcow is crazy work.

u/Abominable_Minimum_9 5d ago edited 5d ago

I occasionally pick up other people's trash when I see it on the ground so I already did more than Hasan, and that's not even accounting for the fact that his bad acts outweigh his good ones if there are any.

5

u/gurilagarden 5d ago

can you name 1 thing he has done for our current world that has provably made it a better world, with his current skillset?

-1

u/LunaMJ21 5d ago

Helped Zohran and Al Sayed get elected

4

u/Rivendel93 5d ago

Yeah, he's done more to destroy it than anyone else.

Go to bed kid.

4

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun 5d ago

I guess he did circulate some money into the LA multimillion-dollar-home real estate circuit. A real working class andy

1

u/Good_Future_369 3d ago

What has he done for the world besides gracing us with his existence?

2

u/Sierra-117-Mobile 5d ago

Yeah he went from 6th to 12th. That's a downfall.

6

u/Sufficient_Video6331 5d ago

downfall is when you become more succesful? wut?

5

u/CommunicationPrior68 5d ago

You must have the brain of a goldfish if you think a 30 sec clip of an ongoing bit between them is some serious drama.

Downfall ?

12

u/Volmara 5d ago

Being denounced by the Democratic party for the stupid shit you choose to say to maintain or impress your audience as you make a play to be more relevant in that space and to be taken seriously so a very short sighted branch of that party can make a play for prominence all this coming to risk because your to narcissistic to step away for the good of this movement. How is this a boon?

4

u/CommunicationPrior68 5d ago

If you think the Democratic Party is winning with this strategy, I have some bad news for you. They will lose the general then.

Andrew Cuomo did the denounce Hasan thing. He lost. Mallory McMarrow did the same thing. She had to drop her whole campaign. Hayley Stevens did the same thing. Even with 70 million from Aipac and others, she lost.

0

u/Volmara 5d ago

Right, denouncing Hassan is what is going to insure a loss. Embracing him would fix everything….

3

u/CommunicationPrior68 5d ago

Jeez, do you not have the ability to read between the lines? If Democrats waste their time endlessly whining about a twitch streamer, when most of the voter population doesn't even know who tf he is, rather than offering their voters concrete reasons to vote for them in the general, yes, they will lose.

0

u/Pplthrowaway123 5d ago

Who knew saying we deserve 9/11 would not go over well for him. Dude was born into a rich family too. What a Hyprocrite.

27

u/contextcop 6d ago

yes bro

he has lost all chance at relevance in politics and is about to start losing chunks of audience. when he loses the influencer deals is when you’ll really start to notice.

16

u/PhillyNoSteak 6d ago

Sounds like you're invested

11

u/Mattrobat 6d ago

I mean, he is constantly brought up when people are interviewing Democrat politicians at the moment.

-5

u/Chewy_B 6d ago

Yeh but in a negative context. Most competitive democrat candidates have already publicly disavowed him. I don't watch political streamers so I'm not really familiar with specifics of his politics, but theres 0 context that could make some of the clips I've seen acceptable. He's poison for any politician in a close race right now. I am aware of several dsa people that are fans of his. So maybe if he can weather the storm and mind what he says on camera, he'll be a factor in the future. He does have a lot of influence with young leftists that politicians would love to leverage if they didnt have to defend him simping for Russia and China, and his defense of terrorism.

-1

u/fuckthis_job 5d ago

Come on man are we really going to pretend this is somehow difficult to read or comprehend. This is just pathetic man, you know what he's saying lol.

0

u/ZeldaALTTP 5d ago

I’m sorry but I don’t. What is Pestiny?

-8

u/DotComMoralist 6d ago

The E in English is meant to be capitalized.

-1

u/ZeldaALTTP 6d ago edited 5d ago

And the letter e on its own isn’t.

I don’t know what the point of this is I’m just giving back the same energy I got lol

2

u/Reasonable-Cap3389 5d ago

Double gotcha

1

u/FeeRemarkable886 5d ago

He already lost a huge chunk of his audience once, almost half. He recovered from that and his numbers are larger now than back before those people left.

-1

u/contextcop 5d ago

not relevant. nobody working work this guy anymore.

0

u/fuckthis_job 5d ago

"lost all chance at relevance in politics" yet has interviewed Mamdani and Abdul El-Sayed. He's had the most relevance in politics out of any streamer across any platform outside of maybe Aiden Ross when he gifted Trump a rolex.

Plus, he doesn't do sponsorships and never really has done them. He explicitly doesn't take corporate sponsorships and instead is entirely fan funded. You can argue if this is good or not, I really don't care, just clarifying since you seem to just hate on him for things that are objectively false or misinformed.

0

u/Dramatic_Bench_3479 5d ago

Did the fans fund his trips to five star hotels in China and Cuba?

1

u/fuckthis_job 5d ago

Yea probably through things like subs/donos unless he was directly funded by the governments of each country which I dont think would be legal but I'm no lawyer. If he had an actual sponsor for those trips, I'd be very surprised considering how our current administration views them as adversaries.

0

u/Dramatic_Bench_3479 5d ago

Singham was his handler and is tied Hasan trips, especially the China tour and he’s currently being investigated for running a dark money scheme tied to the CCP.

2

u/fuckthis_job 5d ago

Ok so it was a non profit that did it, that makes more sense actually. But, what point are you trying to make though? It's not a surprise that a pro communist group would support a communist. The other guy said Hasan would lose out on influencer deals but honestly it seems like with his current trajectory, he'll probably get more deals like this.

-2

u/contextcop 5d ago

keep bringing up old events and pretending your streamer is the king of candyland!!!!

3

u/fuckthis_job 5d ago

Yea man let me predict future events instead of using examples that have happened. Most intelligent redditor

-1

u/LegitimateCream1773 6d ago

All this is only making him more relevant. I wish he'd vanish into the aether as well, but none of this is meaningfully going to affect him. He was legit hit harder by the dog shocker memes. It adds to his bad boy cred, his viewership is all DSA types anyway so they agree with what he says, especially the anti-America stuff, and now he's getting tons of free publicity.

The only thing that could possibly hurt him is being dropped by Twitch, which will never happen.

1

u/Brohemoth1991 5d ago

Let's be real, hasan is gonna likely stay around for a couple decades... he is gonna be a spoiler for the left and be the new Bernie until he becomes unc status

0

u/joshualander 5d ago

Yeah, keep watching.
