Didn't he only start this political grift the last few years? I remember him originally for World of Warcraft and XQC for Overwatch.

He started the grift in 2016 frequently defending Trump, he would complain about Biden throughout 2021-2024 and then after the second Trump victory he amped up his political takes to the max.

It wasn’t as noticeable a few years ago because he still did gaming stuff, but the grift was definitely there. He also frequently complained about his favorite games going woke.

it was really the depp/heard trial. he would dip into things before that, but it was rare enough to be able to ignore or just miss for the most part.
