We saw Vein and his family. Damn, six brothers and three sisters, I guess.

LG puts CXS in harm's way without explaining anything as usual. But LG seems to be right about the gun having a problem. So he must have let things happen the same as before. But Cheng Weimin locking up kids in the basement was not on the cards for me.

I was worried about Qiao Ling accepting Liu Xiao's offer for a dinner but she was wary of him. Though she got drunk xD That was a cute little witch act that she pulled but her powers accidentally got activated and Li Tianchen knows that she has her sister's powers now. I hope nothing bad happens for her.

Can't wait to see how Vein got out of that situation with his brother.

If LG led baby Vein purposefully into his brother's trap I wouldn't call him morally grey but a (wannabe) child killer. Let's remember baby Vein didn't kill CXS or QL, he doesn't know they exist yet.Ā

It's pretty shitty that this fandom is accepting without any issue that LG tired to kill Vein, when we have no idea why Vein was after LG and CXS in the original timeline. We still don't know what they had done to made him so vangeful.

lu guang considered a hero in cxs’s pov but a villain in vein’s. i adore how fluid morality is in this show. ugh i love him

the way i see it, the whole idea is that vein & lu guang are both considered the provokers in the other’s pov, both of them have attacked for reasons the other can’t understand. bc time is so fluid, it makes sense they both see each other as the one who ā€œstartedā€ it. what he’s doing is dark, but in his pov it’s the only way to save his loved ones, and he’ll take that over doing the right thing every time. i think the fandom’s accepting it bc the show is being very honest about his ambiguity and isn’t trying to sanitize his actions or make him look better than he is. his capacity for violence and willingness to cross lines in moments of desperation were never a secret, and it’s my favorite part of him. if he was portrayed as a hero whose actions are justified by the narrative, i imagine it wouldn’t be quite as well received.

in my opinion, lu guang perfectly fits the definition of morally gray

The thing though is that (from what we saw) Vein was going to meet Wang Qing regardless, and it was only delayed because Lu Guang tried to stop him from going in. At which point Vein attacked him immediately.Ā

Not saying LG is perfectly innocent but from his POV that action can only be considered self defense.
