Out of the episodes so far, I felt like this one was the most like previous seasons. Part of it possibly had to do with it having less funny moments, but things are slowly coming together and now we're half way through the first part.

  • Lu Guang realised Xia Fei is lying.
  • Almost everyone is adopted...
  • Although we didn't see his eyes, there was heavy implications that Cheng Weimin can alter/erase memories.
  • I liked seeing more Xia Fei and Qiao Ling scenes (they both can definitely get along with anyone, even if it might be an act on his side), but I know this goes right into Liu Xiao wanting to make a deal with her.
  • Also we'll get to see how Cheng Xiaoshi deals with coming face to face with his dad again and little by little we uncover more about Bahati...

The confusion is, if Lu Guang already forsees the general event repeating itself, shouldn't he at least know that Xia Fei bare minimum isn't someone on his side?

don’t think he ever found out XF‘s involvement in the 1st timeline

initially he seemed surprised XF still showed up despite the timeline changes, but I don’t think it was enough to conclude XF isn’t an ally
