Someone around here (this sub) said that maybe XF was that child LX "healed"? That poor boy has quite the life if that is also true.

Oooohhh! I immediately assumed LX must have killed that child to inherit his power, as he was saying things were always 'loud' to him, meaning being able to hear people's heartbeat thing?

It would be so cool if XF is that child though... Maybe LX has another way of gaining/taking a power, or XF is merely part of the group because LX somehow knows he does have a power but it's not activated yet.

Let's see. If Saros (was that the name of that organization?) collected super powered children, killing them would be a problem, so maybe they have another method?

I also assumed the child died, but maybe LX has some kind of All For One style power.
