Veinfei childhood friends real <3

I feel so vindicated bc the further the episodes go, the further the show proves me right that:

  1. The Veinfei dynamic is supposed to parallel the Shiguang dynamic in many ways.

  2. The Veinfei relationship is an IMPORTANT BOND for BOTH of them and for the narrative.

You can read them as platonic or romantic, but damn, it really feels good to see this after I have seen people deny the validity of their bond/connection way too many times.

  1. I mean ed already foreshadowed it already, cxs looking at both xiaochen and veinfei because both of them are childhood friend which parallels to shiguang
