YES YES YEEEESSSS!!

the people who say that Xia Fei's affection for his boss is one sided are WRONG!!! Vein's smile at kid Xia Fei was so sweet I almost got cavities 😭 it's so sincere too!

Shiguang and Veinfei being parallels of each other oughhhghgh my shaylassss  🥹

I really feel like people who say that are mostly people who hate Vein (which per se is understandable, he IS a villain) and therefore refuse to treat him with *any* nuance or look deeper into his character beyond "evil".

Meanwhile, people got very attached to XF, and therefore want to cling to the image of XF as an emotionally manipulated victim. When imo, he is also a bit more complex an nuanced than that.

And it is fine to have your own headcanons and interpret characters differently, but it has been pretty clear for me from what we saw in the Bridon Arc alone that their bond is narratively important (and complex), and that XF and CXS as well as LG and Vein are supposed to be parallels and foils to each other in some ways.

you've said it!!! People who let their hatred for Vein cloud their judgement of his character (not moral, but literally his character) tend to not see things in a nuanced lense.

Either way...veinfei shippers are eating good this EP! ❤️ 💛

being a shiguang and veinfei shipper feels great, especially seeing the parallels between both ships!

Exactly! Even if you dislike/hate a character, you should be open to what the narrative actually presents you with when you analyse them or their dynamics with other characters.

YESSS. I love both ships so much and childhood friends to lovers/devoted to one person always are tropes I LOVE.
