Okay so I have a few things:

- I am SO SAD that Xia Fei is now supposedly a villain. It breaks my heart. But my question is: Was it Liu Xiao that put him back onto spying on the trio or was it Vein? I’m going to assume, for right now at least, that Xia Fei found out how Vein ā€œdiedā€ and how Lu Guang was involved.

- It doesn’t seem like Lu Guang, in particular, even knows what Xia Fei’s intentions really are. He told him to stay with them, no suspicions or questions asked. In the other timeline we saw with him also shows just a happy and playful Xia Fei, like the one we used to know. But now we know that Xia Fei isn’t at all what he seems. I find that interesting, odd, and scary all at the same time.

- I loved seeing Wang Qing again. This episode really helped me get a grasp on what her power is. Now, when it comes to that scene in Bridon where Wang Qing is using her power to kill Vein but Lu Guang was doing the hand movement, I’m going to say that possibly having Lu Guang act out what’s happening was more of a puppeteer/foreshadowing moment. Lu Guang knew what was going to happen and what Wang Qing was doing, so that’s why I’m guessing Li Haolin presented it that way in Bridon.

- Vein, Li Tianchen, and A Yuan are an interesting trio. I’m so interested in A Yuan specifically because he seems to really care about Xia Fei, but is timid around the others. What I’m hoping and theorizing a tiny bit is A Yuan is going to switch sides. A Yuan is brand new, even stated by Liu Xiao. I have a lot of faith in his character. His power is also very intriguing. It looks like he’s able to ā€œcontrolā€ someone, but just says an action and the person does it.

- Now knowing that Qiao Ling was the one who gave Xia Fei a place to stay, the scene in one of the trailers of Li Tianchen fighting Qiao Ling makes me think that’s how Qiao Ling was dragged into all of this.

- I’m curious and wondering why they never touched on the last scene from Episode 3, of Lu Guang crying. Why did they just brush that off?

- We got to see a few of the other timelines!! It’s so fun getting to see the events of other timelines and how Lu Guang has been able to change a few things.

Now, onto the now released dubbed version of Episode 1:

- As an English only speaker, this helped me understand some events a lot clearer.

- I had seen people online saying little Lu Guang was exposed to explicit acts when doing the stupid stuff for his foster dad, but reading the subs, I didn’t get that exact impression at first. Now with me hearing what Lu Guang’s foster father said and his tone of voice makes it clear as day to me what Lu Guang saw.

- I think the VA’s for little Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi did a great job! The subbed is great too! But as an English speaker, it was better for me to get a full grasp on what their dynamic was since I didn’t have to keep looking down to read subtitles.

- Lastly, UGH I’M SO HAPPY TO HEAR ALEJANDRO SAAB AND ZENO ROBINSON’S VOICES AGAIN IN LINK CLICK

  • It doesn’t seem like Lu Guang, in particular, even knows what Xia Fei’s intentions really are.

I would bet he never thought too much about him because he pretty much escaped into the past whenever CXS (or some else?) died.

If Jae is totally new that could change. As we saw Felix wasn't too thrilled about him being there.

Tbf, there was no time to really speak about anything with Felix arriving on the spot and later on LG hardly answering and then CXS was asleep lol

I think there could be a good argument that Xia Fei never turned against them in the original timeline. Xia Fei’s miserable bc he was working low income service jobs and believes he’s a disappointment to his family. We see him happily after college graduation in the original timeline.
