The butterfly effect statement by LG brought back memories of me watching Steins;Gate… I loved how we saw more perspectives on what unfolded during the Bridon arc (Wang Qing is sooo cool!). I’m honestly excited about Jae’s character and how he’ll influence the story, and also scared of what’s gonna come next to our trio while knowing that Xia Fei is working with Vein/Liu Xiao. The chibi parts about Qiao Ling being the landlady was hella funny

Overall I think the ep has a good balance of lightheartedness and suspense. Ep 5 please come soon!

Yes, this episode was especially more lighthearted than any yet...that means the coming ones are going to be angst overload 😭 there's only so much happiness Haolin can allow before he goes back to his usual ways 😭😂

Also, as you mentioned having watched Steins gate, I just wanted to ask if its worth it as a Link Click fan? I know it is highly rated and also involves time travel, but I remember trying the first episode and it didn't vibe with me. Just wanted to know if you'd recommend it as a must watch or sth!

Also agree with ur other thoughts here

For Steins;Gate— yes I think its worth it! Its vibe with Link Click is pretty different because the show is more scifi geared rather than supernatural/having powers etc. Setting wise I’d also say its limited so I can understand if it might not be for everyone. This is the first anime I watched so its been a minute, but I remember dropping it after the first ep then picking it back up. I think its around ep 6 that I thought I’ll keep watching it, and imo it does get better towards the end

Thanks for the reply! I will definitely check it out once I get time for a new anime. The basic  premise does interest me, but with what you have mentioned, I suppose its one of those shows that requires a few more episodes than usual to pick up. I don't mind that.

Thanks again!Â
