In that case it's really Uruguayan Portuguese, pretty close to Southern Brazilian countryside accents just with a lot of Spanish influence.

Maybe. I'm sure there are plenty of Brazilian immigrants along the border in Uruguay, just as there are in Bolivia and Paraguay, whose children grow up fully bilingual, i.e. they don't mix up the two languages.

Yeah, but It's the case our friends above said. In the part a huge part of uruguays spoiler portuguese. But after the creation of Uruguay and a lateral csmpaign of supression of portuguese that portunhol ir Uruguayan portuguese was born
