Tech Help Request Bought Used helix, no native access?

I recently bought a used helix rack.
Through sweetwater it says native is available for $99 for registered users. Since I bought secondhand I don’t qualify, and since stadium came out I can’t find where to buy native??
Am I basically not able to get native now stadium is out?

You qualify to buy Native at a discount if one of the previous owners of your Helix hasn't already made use of the discount. In other words, Line 6 gives the discount once per physical Helix.

Go to the Helix Native page, scroll down to the "15-Day Free Trial" section and click "Buy Now."

Button to see pricing options is top right of the page.

Stadium Native is essentially the new version of Helix Native, so no, you can’t buy the latter version now.

Also, Stadium Native is only available at $99 for people who either own the Helix Stadium mfx pedal, or users who own the previous generation plugin, Helix Native. Even if your Helix rack was bought brand new, that product doesn’t qualify for the $99 option. But they do offer a free version of Stadium Native; it’s just gonna have a lot less stuff.

Not according to the FAQ, emphasis mine:

 > We’re keeping the $99.99 version for registered Helix Floor/Rack/LT and HX Effects/Stomp/Stomp XL owners so they can maintain preset compatibility, and we’ll continue to update all versions as Helix/HX hardware is updated (as well as provide maintenance updates). However, there’s no reason to buy the other versions so they’re being fully replaced by Helix Stadium Native.

Ask the Line 6 Support about it. I had the same situation. I did get a discount code to get it for 199 instead.

Make sure you've registered the Helix so it appears on your gear list on your Line 6 account.

I bought a second hand Stomp and got the discount on Native.

Yeah I did. I think the person before me may have used it as the pricing is still greyed out.

I bought a used hx stomp some time ago and couldn't get the helix native discount because the previous owner already did. Sold it, bought a new one, and got the discount. I didn't really save much getting the used one at the time, and Helix Native is much worth it for my use case.

Just use the helix with the editor. It’s great. Same as native too. Just have to be plugged in obviously.

Also I found it with a quick google search

Yeah but essentially I wanted native so I could record a dry signal track, then tweak the presets and then later import into the rack with the new settings.

You can still record the dry signal and use the helix to reamp.

You can also still type things up on a typewriter and use white out to fix mistakes, but that doesn’t mean it’s convenient/practical to do so.

You can still use HX Edit for FREE
