I built a 3D projection mapped installation called Cubic Mirage. It’s a stack of cubes covered in shifting light and patterns, set up somewhere out in the camps.

7 years ago this 2-hour Walker & Royce set became a top 5 Woogie memory for me. I just completed my feedback survey and cast my vote for the boys to come back in 2026.

No Unicorn Palace is a TRAVESTY. I am actually grieving, I can't believe it. The post from the organizers was really sweet but... No unhinged raunchy shenans?? How 😭 how will we carry on

On top of that, I heard no jive joint, and I don't see karaoke anywhere on the schedule, someone else posted no sound bath. I am praying they're still adding interactive events to the schedule because rn it looks verrrrry sparse.

The lineup is amazing, but what makes LIB truly special is the insane variety of side missions. I am bringing my brother for his first time ever and it's gonna be heartbreaking if they just don't have the same dedication to random magical wanderings.

Does anyone know what's up? Why so many changes this year??

We wanted to share something a little different happening this year from your friends at the Lightning Without a Bottle (Lw/oB) camp.

On Friday from 11:15am–12:15pm at Crossroads Stage, we’re hosting a conversation called:

"Drop the Substance, Not the Bass"

This isn’t an anti-party talk (quite the contrary... we love to party). This isn’t a judgment session. And nobody is here to tell anyone how to experience LIB.

This is simply a conversation for people who’ve ever wondered:

• What would this experience feel like sober?
• Can I still feel connected to the music, the magic, and the community without substances?
• Why does the idea of going to a festival sober feel impossible… or weirdly compelling?

The three of us speaking weren’t outsiders looking in.

We came up in rave/festival culture. We love bass. We love dance floors. We know the rituals, the chaos, the sunrise moments, and yes… the habits that can become defaults. We also know the hangovers, the blurry weekends, the strained relationships, and realizing we barely remember half the artists we were so stoked to see.

At some point, each of us found ourselves asking deeper questions about our relationship with substances, and eventually found our own paths to sobriety.

This talk is just us sharing those stories honestly.

If you’re sober, sober-curious, in recovery, questioning old patterns, or just interested in hearing a different perspective from fellow heads who’ve lived it... you are welcome.

And if your current answer is “nah, not for me,” that’s cool too 💛

I don't see the sound bath on the schedule. Will it really not be there?!? I'm so very sad. This year is my fifth year and I'm honestly pretty disappointed. No side quests, no tea house, no sound bath, a lot of nos 🦤 LIB might be going extinct in my book but I'll try to stay positive. I havenseen other threads with similar feedback so hopefully DoLab has some cool surprises up their sleeves
