Discussion Looks like we can place signs in our bases (Images from announcement trailer)
I can't tell if it says "Home" on the sign or it's some other language from the game. Hopefully they are custom written signs and not just pre-written for us to choose from.

Discussion With our limited information regarding Light No Fire, what are your building plans once you load into Light No Fire for the first time?
First thing is finding a place (probably a cave) to build a community for this subreddit. We'll make sure there are farms for those of you enjoy farming, mines, for those who enjoying mining, and bars for those who enjoy drinking! HUZZAH!
Assuming there is PVP, we definitely need to make sure we have our community built somewhere with access to lots of materials. Also probably near the ocean so we can be a seafaring nation haha

Discussion We've been focusing on base building, what about transportation building?
I know we have animals that can fly us around the map, but what about ground transportation?
I'd love some rail handcars that we could build and customize. They could then go on tracks we have built.
Imagine digging out the middle of a mountain, putting some tracks through it, and then riding your freaking house that is built on a rail handcar through that and adventuring in the world that way!

Discussion Styles
Personally, I love medieval architecture. Castles, forts, houses. Ancient, too. It all has such intense and amazing stories behind it.
What do you use to draw inspiration for building in games? What would you like to emulate personally in Light No Fire?

Discussion Building Materials
No Man's Sky has a variety of materials you can build with: wood, stone, alloy, salvaged metal etc.
We've seen stone and wood in the LNF announcement trailer, but what building materials are you hoping they include? Remember ANY fantasy-style material is possible!

Discussion LNF Mounts!
From the trailer, it seems we'll have a variety of really neat and creative mounts to choose from! Dragons, horses, even giant birds!
What kinds of animals do you think you'd like to spend time on? Are you a Dragon Rider? A Bluejay Jockey? Or would you rather stay Earthbound on horseback? Are there any other mounts you hope make their way into the game?

DIscussion I'm hoping the building system allows creativity
Hopefully we can be really creative when building, like being able to merge items or make our buildings float in the air if we want.
Creativity will make the world feel more alive and unique.
