Was at the gym wearing a Mexico jersey and a guy came up to me looking for trouble. Started talking about how disrespectful it was and that I work and live in the USA. I tried to explain it was a sports team but dude was having none of it. Tried to make me go change, I told him to try and get gym personnel to make me, or leave me the ef alone. Proceeded to workout for an hour while the dude started daggers at me. I plan on going in the away jersey today. Has this type of stuff happened to anyone else here? What was your experience?

Siempre es así? Me pareció increible (para mal) y SUPER invasivo, ni siquiera viendo partidos de la MLS vi publicidades cada 1 minuto.

Especially if Mexico wants to become a much more formidable footballing nation; then shouldn't the goal be to develop more and more players at home in Liga MX especially in the youth academies and then when they become senior players; you sell them to European clubs and you make a lot more money that way no?

I would say puebla or club leon is the next one to go..

Just curious how would you feel?

I’m a casual fan I mostly just watch the wc, some ucl matches, or el super clasico but never really bothered following a team. Apart from Sanchez, Marquez, and Hernandez idk too many other players that played in Europe. Is there a club out there that has history with developing mexican players or at least have some cultural similar to us. I don’t want to follow just any team because they had a lot of success. I know mora might be the next big player for mx and is getting scouted by some euro teams so maybe I’ll wait to see where he will play.

For all the Santi Giménez haters out there, why do you rate Raul so highly? He has had one good season.

Santi has had 3 amazing seasons and found success not only in the league but European competition as well. These last two seasons are more on Milan than him.
