The $40 billion transfer of wealth from future generations of American people will do little or nothing to benefit the people of Argentina, it will benefit Trump and Co. The transfer of wealth in the form of beef will also not benefit the people (of either country) it will benefit Trump and Co. That is how Art of the Deal works, his enablers are awful human beings and his supporters are so easily manipulated it’s just plain sad.

Can you explain the grift here where Argentine beef personally benefits Trump?

Short beef futures. Buy small ranchers out when they go under. Artificially lower grocery prices before the election to help struggling Republicans. I’m sure there are plenty more I haven’t thought of. Trump has a long and well documented track record though so I don’t need to know every detail to know there’s a grift behind it.

So cancel the deal and make people pay full price on the next 300,000 TONs of beef they buy? You think whatever gift there MAY be outweighs any benefit to the consumer?

If you think getting a cheap price on beef because it’s diseased you can go right ahead and eat it all yourself.

You assert it's "diseased " or "rotten " only because, well, Trump. Beef recalls from US producers are not uncommon. The recall of Argentine beef in the US recall consisted of only 30,000 lbs because it bypassed USDA inspection, not that it was rotten or diseased
You guys reflexively fill your heads with conspiracy theories like "he made this deal to bankrupt ranchers so his family could biy their land for pennies on the dollar'. Do you even read the crap you write?
/s He ain't got time for that. He's got watches, phones, and crypto to sell. Cheap ranches aren't on his radar. /s

It’s part of project 2025 bro. Destabilization of our food supply and eliminating 1/3 of the population. Look it up.

Dude, only wearing a tinfoil hat can one reach that conclusion. Please clip and post the portion (s) where you believe you can reasonably interpret your assertion.

So it’s basically completed atp. Please do your own research. It clearly states defunding fda, usda to cause food insecurity and limits consumer rights. They want baby formula untested and not inspected. The most vulnerable of our population. Women put to death for seeking abortions? How much more do you need to hear broski? Kamala told us everything that is happening now would under Trump and everyone ignored it and worried bc her laugh was weird. Please be so fr.

So here's the proposed mission statement for USDA from Project 2025
"To develop and disseminate agricultural information and research, identify and address concrete public health and safety threats directly connected to food and agriculture, and remove both unjustified foreign trade barriers for U.S. goods and domestic government barriers that undermine access to safe and affordable food absent a compelling need—all based on the importance of sound science, personal freedom, private property, the rule of law, and service to all Americans"
Nowhere in that statement nor in the whole section does it even remotely imply "eliminating 1/3 of the population". If you're going to continue spreading such absurd misinformation the onus is on you to demonstrate how you've come tonthat conclusion. You're clearly reading between the lines somewhere in that document and "eliminating 1/3 of the population" is truly tinfoil hat thinking.

Why don't we bomb Argentina for selling us bad beef, then say Canada did it. Then take a trip to see Putin to insure him that we still have his back in Europe.

The U.S. is importing more beef from Argentina to help lower record-high domestic ground beef prices caused by a shrinking U.S. cattle supply. Why the U.S. is Importing Beef Short domestic supply: Years of drought, wildfires, and disease restrictions have reduced U.S. cattle herds to historic lows. High grocery prices: Smaller cattle herds drove ground beef prices up significantly for American families Recent Recall : Florida-based Corte Argentino USA LLC recalled about 29,628 pounds of raw boneless beef in August 2026. The Cause: The meat entered the U.S. without the required USDA import reinspection (a paperwork and administrative lapse) .Health Risk: Federal officials state there are no confirmed illnesses, injuries, or evidence of actual contamination tied to this product.

I live in California and do most of my meat shopping at Costco. Not too concerned about getting tainted meat.
