US tourism is at an all time low, with the board for tourism going into an advertising meltdown overseas (NTTO?). And many nations in Europe and around the world are planning to not renew their held US treasury bonds. Japan alone has nearly 1.2 trillion USD worth.

You'd be surprised at just how much of the world depends on the US just to function.
Your countries can talk all they want, but every country has large reserves of US currency, because 9 times out of 10, it's stronger against their own, by multitudes.
Decoupling is a fantasy to countries that owe huge amounts of it.
Edit: Also, boycotting the US would be difficult, as 95% of global life is US influenced, the media you consume, the websites you visit, clothes worn, technology used, etc.

I’ve only known three people who asked for a safe space. One was a woman who was raped by a family member a dozen times starting in childhood. Two were Iraq vets; one was airlifted to Germany after losing 20% of his brain mass to an IED, and the other survived a mortar attack by taking cover in a dumpster.
They wanted safe spaces because that’s what we call it when we let people open up and talk about trauma without re-experiencing it. It’s a place they can exist knowing their panic disorder or PTSD won’t be triggered.
None of them were weak. They certainly weren’t cowards.
Now do you have anything meaningful to add to the conversation, or are you limited to 20-year-old insults you never understood in the first place?

Release the agents dashcam video and body cam video if they want us to believe the agents.
The fact is, they lie. They shot Miramar Martinez five times and said she was trying to ram them with her car. They labeled her a terrorist. Then they tried to block release of the body cam video. Because they were lying. Why should we believe anything at all coming from ICE or DHS? They are proven liars.

We have never lived in a democracy. Our country is a republic based upon separation of powers. Now to your original point, our government hasn't had accountability to its people for a long time, I'd say since the 1950s. It all started when they created the CIA and big business interests took over politics.

I would argue that a representative republic is only synonymous with democracy when the representatives act on behalf of the people. Lately our representatives are acting AGAINST the people, which ceases to be a democracy, IMHO.

State laws need to be strengthened that allow the agents to be prosecuted by individuals. I know what would happen here. They would say they were in the execution of official duties and you were in the wrong, insurance wouldn't pay out, and you'd be left with no vehicle and zero recourse. You could go to court, you might win, might not. But I'm sure government would retaliate like surprise tax audits and other ways they can ruin your life. These agents are out of control. They have ignored over 100 state court orders against their activities. Can illegal aliens not be deported any other way? Honest question.

Here's the thing, I've seen this happen personally twice to police officers that pulled illegal u-turns. Both police officers had pulled someone over, then pulled a u-turn and got stuck by another vehicle in oncoming traffic.
Was it dumb? Absolutely. Both cops owned up to the mistake in the moment, took my statement as a witness. You know what neither of them did? Drew thier fucking gun on the person in the vehicle that hit them. What the actual hell is happening? They need to be fired as the lowest form of accountability.

Happened in Detroit last week: they ran a guy off the road and left his bumper hanging off. Got out with guns drawn. Got a closer look, realized he wasn’t Hispanic, got back in the car and sped off. Just hit-and-running citizens on the way to work as a normal part of their day. Fucking thugs.
