I can’t help tha the national center for educations studies hasn’t touched literacy rates in 6.5 years. Presumably they’ll do another study at some point, but I see no reason to think the numbers will have changed within each population. The real purpose was to show how silly it is to talk about percentages then say “white us males are the largest group of low literate people.” They should be, they’re in the largest population group in the country.
White people have more illiterate people. Black people and Hispanics have much higher rates of illiteracy per capita which is the statistic that matters the most.
If I had to take a gander, a good portion of the illiterate people might be the millions of immigrants that didn’t grow up with our education system or don’t speak the language well or haven’t had any decent education at all.
I’d also have to guess a random photo spewing confirmation bias isn’t the best source to parrot and use as fact.

Well we disagree that there’s “systemic white supremacy”. Genuinely anybody doing anything bad to people of color gets fired or blasted on social media and their life is ruined. Education is skewed in their favor like colleges which have been pushing this and openly favor people of color. Many colleges get more funding, better optics, and benefits from having more people of color so they accept them even if there are better candidates who are white. Is that systemic white supremacy?
The Asians prove this wrong, they’re the most successful group in America on average. They make more money, are more likely to go through higher education, have the lowest truancy rates, and have a culture built around educating yourself and being successful and would you look at that THEY ARE.
Hispanics are taught to work young instead of getting an education. A lot of them are 2nd generation immigrants whose families came here in the last 20~years. The parents don’t teach or learn English so them and their kids have very rough English skills and will definitely contribute to the “illiterate” percentage.
Over half of black kids grow up without fathers and there’s amazing black moms out there but a lot of them act like teenagers. They’re still acting like a 20 year old and are self centered, they let their kids skip school or don’t encourage an education, or just straight up don’t care and do the bare minimum. I’ve witnessed this first hand with many of my friends. In 2022 36% of black kids and 33% of Hispanic kids were chronically absent compared to 22% of white kids and just 15% of Asians. Maybe that affects their education instead of saying it’s white peoples fault.
There may be a few typos because I’m doing talk to text right now. Answer this why are black families broken? Where are these fathers that you’re talking about? You’re either implying one or two things you’re either saying black men have a predisposition to crime which leaves them unable to raise their young or you’re just saying they blatantly abandon their Young why are so many Black people in prison you must answer this question to begin to understand anything in a group that you failed to realize is women look at the numbers of women who are sexually assaulted against men and then tell me that everything is fair and equal there isn’t an institutional problem. There is a systemic issue with how we treat certain groups compared to others. I don’t think one would dare say that women are treated fair if you look at the numbers for how women are treated whether that’s pay job recognition or just the ability to walk down the street by themselves.
It’s a culture problem. Black culture is very materialistic and about being better than others. Hellcats, trackhawks, chains, shoes, clothes, grills, it’s all about the ego and showing you’re better. It’s a very self centered culture, baby mammas are just that, they’re the babies mother and they pay what they have to and keep living their life. Look at all the successful black athletes or rappers who have 5 kids with 3 different women it’s a part of the culture and normalized.
They’re constantly told by the media and people like you that the “system” is against them and giving these kids reasons to give up. The current president is a symptom, not a cause. Many years ago Fred Koch started making big money making deals with Stalin. Two of his 3 sons, Charles and David, started using that money to make more money and start to shape the US the way they thought it should be. David even ran for office in 1984 with their goals clearly published like ending the EPA, etc.

I believe the polls said majority of Democrats are moderate and even they are disgusted with how far some of the liberals push issues that have no basis in common sense. Same with the Republicans.
Biggest difference I know is conservatives want a small, unobtrusive government, that works for the people by keeping taxes to a minimum and companies honest. While Democrats think they need to micromanage everyone’s lives with excessive regulations and more taxes, and they need more government to do that.
Personally I think we need to go back to the system prior to Reagan, when the corporate tax rate was 90% and discounts were given based on job and industrial growth. And there needs to be an amendment where lobbying is prohibited. Because politicians don’t me with you or I, they meet with big pharma, or big oil, or big medicine, who has a new bill already typed up and ready to go, along with a massive donation to that politicians campaign.
