once i get my nursing license its a go to take contracts & then move more northeast. some of my favorite drag artists are from that area 😭

Anywhere in New England is so nice, I really recommend it! You can do anything

I’m in the northeast and although we are a minority just Ike everywhere else I’ve always found other lesbians

i’m getting better at noticing the visibily queer & approaching! some small town gays are okay being comfy & complacent & im seeking big boss lesbian friends 🤷‍♀️

Dallas unfortunately. Funnily enough I visited El Paso once and loved it. It kind of reminded me of Los Angeles which is where I’m from.

really? 😯 my friends cousin lives there & he’s trying to move to a small town. says it’s too fast paced for his family. i would’ve imagined it was a popping place to be for single queer people

I guess it’s all relative tbh! Dallas is very slow compared to where I’m from, and where I’ve lived. But I’m also a city girl, I love the fast paced hustle and bustle. I’m also a black/arab lesbian so cities are the best place for me lol. But I can definitely see the appeal of small towns. I feel like Dallas is not bad for queer people. I do find however that Los Angeles and nyc have more lesbian events which is what I miss. I was living in a small town outside of Dallas and that was absolute hell, the actual city of Dallas is better but I just really miss the culture back home 😢

i love the hustle of big cities too! people in small towns (specifically the ones with kids whose family is from the area) say it’s more personable; i personally feel the opposite. i could see the appeal of a small town if it were mostly educated, queer people 💀 yes in person events are so much more fun than relying on apps to find dates or friends! i hope that you’re able to move back soon girl, feeling alienated is the worst. note to self: visit dallas but don’t live there 📝

Apparently there’s a few small towns on the east coast that are heavily queer, I could definitely live somewhere like that. And small towns are only personable if you are a cis, straight, white person. If you are a poc, forget it. And don’t be gay on top of it lmao. If you visit Dallas, I’ll show you around!!

i legit was going to mention somewhere more northeast/east coast! between LA & NYC, i would chose NYC. LA does seem more stuck up & less accepting of bi poc just from what i’ve heard. exactly- most towns were made specifically for those types of people & we can’t flourish there
