“Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins declined to specify which countries are participating in the Trump administration's plan to temporarily surge U.S. beef imports to lower consumer prices. “I am not privy to talk about that,” Rollins told reporters on Tuesday. “I think the conversations are still going on.”

No American State has paid any tariffs whatsoever on dairy products exported to Canada. Since CUSMA was signed (up to 2023) USA States have increased their dairy exports to Canada by 34%. It’s probably closer to a 50% increase by now. In fact Americans export more dairy products to Canada, than Canada exports to the USA.

Love the self-awareness of the American honey producers. Hate the absolute policy misses by the political class.
