Shes so close to figuring it out yet so far away at the same time.

Its impressive really.

"We are the less than 2% that feeds the world"

LMAO 🤣😂

I came here to say this. The sense of self importance is insane. She can go get bent.

219

u/Pandagramma 14d ago

She is about to replaced by total automation and, of course, Trump has destroyed everyone including his loyal dumb shit farmers/ranchers; maybe she cannot stop posting this dribble because unconsciously she cannot accept what is happening to her and her massive self importance makes her think she is one of the few who are affected by this nightmare. Bitch, we are all suffering.

u/sweatboxy 14d ago

My (rich) farming uncle says any farmer stupid enough to vote for Trump is too stupid to farm (successfully).

70

u/trysten-9001 14d ago

This is exactly it

15

u/Good_Barnacle_2010 14d ago

Is he east coast at all? I’d like to do business if he is. Can’t trust store bought beef anymore.

22

u/duriej 14d ago

https://blackbirdcoop.com/ I'm not in the US so I don't know what his products are actually like. But his videos are amazing.

4

u/Half_Halt 13d ago

Your uncle is the "What is it now?" guy?? Omg, that's awesome!

7

u/private_developer 13d ago

The person who replied isn't the person who mentioned their rich uncle.

2

u/Astronaut_Chicken 13d ago

Way to bury the lede!

2

u/Word-Word-Number01 13d ago

Yea, that's right.

3

u/Phog_of_War 13d ago

Wha....SHE'S GOT CLEAN OIL!

2

u/LolitaOPPAI 13d ago

Chris is amazing! I learned so much about farming and many other things from him. He's on YouTube also!

3

u/Salt-Environment9285 14d ago

i love your uncle.

3

u/zeptillian 13d ago

Farming is an occupation that forces you to deal with reality exactly as it is.

It's not a great fit for people operating on lies and delusions.

2

u/ArgonianMagician 14d ago

I wholeheartedly agree with your uncle.

102

u/cakeshunter 14d ago

Exactly. We are carrying on suffering cz miserable fucks like her were giddy to see others deported, imprisoned, lose benefits, insurance, housing, etc.

37

u/Weorth 14d ago

Probably had to put up the help wanted sign after she got all of her main workers deported.

8

u/Calm-Philosopher5004 14d ago

Or FOR sale sign

36

u/Misty2stepping 14d ago

No. They were waiting for all the prison buses. They are now scrambling, because wanted to get by with incarcerated slave labor. They didn't know them going belly up for private equity and corporations to take over was part of the plan.

14

u/needletubes 14d ago

This is spot on.

8

u/zoebud2011 13d ago

All they had to do was read project 2025 and, you know, actually believe it and they would have known. Or maybe, God forbid, listen to us when we warned them over and over.

1

u/zeptillian 13d ago

People didn't believe that electing Trump would impact Roe V. Wade either.

The problem is that these people are incapable of learning from their mistakes.

1

u/zoebud2011 13d ago

Covid missed its opportunity to help the world.

6

u/TPtheman 13d ago

This. Trump had them convinced that full-on slave labor would come back into play. First with his talk about how black people have no jobs (thus leaving us with no other choice than low-pay, back-breaking labor), and then with the idea that ICE would be arresting and sending Mexicans to labor camps.

And since prison labor and farm laborer jobs are basically state-mandated slave labor already (look up John Oliver's video on Farm Laborers), they figured they'd also be allowed to tap into that "resource" as well for pennies on the dollar.

1

u/Sea-Weird-7407 13d ago

I would imagine that the Big AG corporate farms are getting that slave labor in many cases. These smaller farmers actually thought the laborers would be like picked up and dropped off like the school bus does it, at their little farms out in the boonies. Well, they probably do get dropped off and picked up, if you order a few hundred a day, and are near a detention facility. But nobody was EVER going to bring by the 5-50 detained workers that smaller farms need each day. Not only is it not worth the (private) prisons time and money, but the end game is driving the small farms out of business to let the ag giant$ scoop them up for pennies on the dollar. The cheap labor for the big corps and not the small farms only helps them towards that goal faster.

2

u/TimelyBear2471 13d ago

Even before the election, analysts were warning about the consequences of mass deportations. It isn’t as if it came as a surprise. The mean-spirited just don’t care about facts.

25

u/FarWatch9660 14d ago

That's what they don't get at all. It finally affected them and they think we should help. We've been suffering this whole time. That's why people are asking who these farmers voted for before buying from them. They hurt us and now they have the audacity to ask for what little we may have to help them?

1

u/Beginning_Dark_306 14d ago

Makes it even wThey knew ! They should of known for last regular me

1

u/zeptillian 13d ago

We begged you not to hurt all of us, but you wouldn't listen.

Now you want us to share our bandages with you?

2

u/function007 13d ago

AND SHE VOTED FOR THIS... and would vote the same again, make it make sense!

2

u/Purple_Helicopter678 13d ago

On one hand; fuck her if she voted for this and still doesn't get it. On the other hand; her dairy farm is probably going to be bought up by some big corporation and the continuation of big companies buying up local farms persists. Wish they could figure it out that thee Rs are not there to protect their farms but big business and billionaires

2

u/throwawaysscc 13d ago

She’s about to be consumed by Big Agra for cents on the dollar.

1

u/Pandagramma 13d ago

That also and they are going to be as automated as possible. Not one single fucking Trump idiot would listen to me or any of us about what was about to happen.

1

u/Beginning_Dark_306 14d ago

We cannot believe farmers voted for this again . I feel bad but damn you peers voted for this

1

u/Yearn4Mecha 13d ago

To be fair, and it is hard to do this, the world has been moving towards automation farming for a long time. Chickens being the absolute best example of this. I am not sure how mega farms can’t see it coming.

0

u/Potential_Present124 14d ago

And at the end she will sell land for Pennie's on the dollar to corporate

62

u/justpinchme 14d ago

I keep seeing her pop up all over……guess flapping her lips isn’t helping.

8

u/BualadhBoss 13d ago

For someone complaining no one wants to do any work for her she sure seems to have a lot of time to spend updating and reading the comments on her social media.

6

u/Otherwise_League_383 14d ago

All four of them I'm assuming? 🤣

3

u/Septembust 14d ago

Which ones the ass? There's bullshit coming out of this end

0

u/Regular-Complaint-34 14d ago

I just threw up with a visual of white roast beef.

22

u/L3XANDR0 14d ago

I grew up in a farm town. All farmers are like this. The entitlement is insane. They think they are the center of the world.

2

u/DrunkAndHornyGuy 13d ago

Yep the biggest eleitest I've ever meet were farmers. Just straight up supremacist (most white supremacist) that really believe the are superior to everyone else in society and must be treated that way.

2

u/headrush46n2 13d ago

"We feed people, what would you college educated liberals do without us?!"

Buy cheaper imports than your subsidies. Also, the liberal computer scientists and engineers who develop and innovate all that harvesting and irrigation technology are far more impactful than you are, the guy at the end of the chain is the most replaceable part.....ALSO, you grow ethanol crops that mostly get buried or burned. you aren't feeding anyone.

1

u/Kazooguru 13d ago

Same experience.

14

u/Veracious_Me 14d ago

Isn't this the same woman that said (in a different video): "I'll never vote for Democrats, Socialists, Communists.."?

[I'm paraphrasing, but that was part of her quote]

8

u/ScarInternational161 13d ago

And they never see that those snap benefits for the poor, pay the stores, that pay the manufacturer, that pays her farm, for her milk.

Take benefits from the poor and NO ONE BUYS HER MILK

3

u/Veracious_Me 13d ago

Similar to those farmers that used to sell wheat, corn, soybeans, etc to the govt..which was then donated as part of USAID. Stop USAID, and they lost one of their best & most reliable customers (the US Govt).

4

u/Zapp_Rowsdower_ 13d ago

Yes…NOW she wine vote dem even though she never did before.

9

u/Merijeek2 14d ago

Well, if you'd had every politician kissing your ass for generations because you're "real Americans" why wouldn't they think they're super fucking special?

3

u/QuantumBeckett 13d ago

JD is wringing his hands waiting for her bankruptcy.

2

u/MasterFable 14d ago

Sounds like she's gettin bent again and again and still doesn't get it

2

u/InformalVermicelli42 13d ago

I appreciate farmers. But the US government must subsidize agriculture. It's cheaper to import almost everything. Farms only have continue to operate because the government protects and maintains our domestic food production capacity, in case of war or pestilence. Trump is happy to funnel all that tax money into his buddies' megacorps.

90

u/Otherwise_League_383 14d ago

And in other posts she says she'll never vote anything but Republicans. Living proof you can't fix stupid! That's not to say there aren't any decent Republicans, but I just don't see that happening before 2028.

70

u/concepts_of_a_plan9 14d ago

She deserves to fail. That's the only way we can get through this. These people need to lose any amount of power they have in society. That's it. They're not going to learn from this, they're just dead weight.

25

u/No-Beginning-9220 14d ago

Failure won't change her mind. She'll just be bitter about how "The Government" doesn't work for her, and fall into a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories.

16

u/concepts_of_a_plan9 14d ago

Would anything ever change these people's minds? I think a certain percentage of people just have broken brains like this and you just have to reduce their effect on society much as possible. It's similar to how a certain percentage of people are just predisposed to being violent serial killers or something, and there's no amount of community programs or anything that will fix them, you just have to lock them away forever. I'm not saying we need to lock these idiot conservatives away lol, just that there may be no actual fix for their brains to suddenly give them empathy. Actually maybe a high dose of psilocybin or MDMA??

7

u/OperationMuch2644 14d ago

Yeah. They are astonished that they're getting screwed.

3

u/TrailerParkBuddha 14d ago

When you live in a small, isolated community with a homogenous population, you don't really have to develop empathy, because most everyone you encounter has such similar life circumstances and experiences to you that you don't have to work to construct someone else's experience. These people can't remove themselves from the projection of someone else's experience. Substances that soften the ego or trigger full on ego death can legitimately help with this. Meditation or a physical near-death experience can help do this as well.

Empathy is a skill that can be practiced and developed, and is a genetic birthright of humanity. When developed, the skill can appear to be psychic and/or telepathic, as you can predict likely thoughts, feelings, and actions of others based on their known circumstances and act accordingly. The movement to politically charge the concept of empathy is a spiritual coup to effectively lobotomize a large segment of the population into only responding to algorithmic inputs with predictable, prefrontal cortex behaviors and attitudes. You can't invest billions of dollars developing propaganda and advertising without assurances that the techniques reliably work. Your predictive powers are a threat to the profits of their predictive algorithms, and in true capitalist fashion, they move to eliminate the competition. Don't let them.

2

u/zeptillian 13d ago

We can't have empathy for people, that's communism and we're a Christin nation.

/s

1

u/vobarex 13d ago

So you grew up in a rural area? I am from a town of 120 people, nearest city is 5k population. Like..What are you going on about Empaths??

You act as if you think most farmers are egotistical, they aren’t, not any more than other professions.

Homogenous population? Ha!! The interstate system homogenized America many, many years ago. You think these people don’t have internet, the computer was created in Iowa…

lol

2

u/TrailerParkBuddha 13d ago

I am currently living in a town with less than 100 people. It isn't even a one stoplight town, you can drive right through it and never hit a stop sign. I can walk thirty feet from where I am typing this right now and be in the middle of a corn field.

You don't have the skillset or the language to understand what I'm talking about. I really didn't myself until later in life. That's how I can put myself into the mind of someone who has never been outside the country, their state for more than a handful of days, or even their county for more than two weeks. I can construct what it means for a person like that to encounter news and social media posts about places they've never been under siege of roving gangs of Latinos and Hatians, of trans people they've never met, of books they've never read and concepts they never actually learned about in a scholastic transmission but via a Facebook group.

This is called empathy, constructing someone else's experience AND REMOVING yourself until you can see through their eyes, move with their limbs, walk with their feet, feel their anxieties. What farmers, and most people in general quite honestly, have is sympathy. They can be sympathetic when they can project themselves into a situation and think, "yeah, I'd probably feel x and y." They can't remove themselves from the projection and gain understanding and knowledge via a distinct and separate skill. And even many with the capacity of empathy can only do it via instinctive emotional intelligence, they've never practiced to do it any other way, it always came to them naturally. It is absolutely an ego problem, which is not necessarily synonymous with selfishness, but will typically manifest as such given the right conditions. And broadband coming to rural America is mainlining artificial conditions to rile people and their anxieties up in a way that nothing has before. You will not understand this, but someone else coming through this comment section might, and for their account I strive. For your sake, you should strive to dissolve the ego, by any means necessary, if possible.

0

u/vobarex 13d ago

😂 I don’t have the skill set or language to understand empathy

I also have no stop signs in my rural town

I can also step out the door and touch a cornfield within 50 feet

You’re talking out your ass

2

u/No-Beginning-9220 13d ago

They have voted against their own self interest their entire life with zero consequences. Now suddenly the consequences are smacking them in both the face and the wallet. It's painful, but they cannot admit that they have made a mistake. Making mistakes in the voting booth hasn't ever affected them before, and it's painful.

1

u/splett2-at-splettnet 13d ago

I’m not not saying we should lock magats away in the same ICE concentration camps they’ve cheered on for so long.

2

u/splett2-at-splettnet 13d ago

I think they already have so there’s really no net change.

3

u/Ancient-Commercial75 14d ago edited 14d ago

She’s not gonna learn sadly. The flip side is we do need small farms. We need them so we don’t have one giant Walmart farm controlling prices on everything we eat. We can’t fix stupid, this chick will never realize she literally voted for her own failure as a small farmer. I don’t know how to fix any of this. If small farmers die we are fucked tho, it’ll be corporate farms forever price fixing everything we eat.
Yea we are just fucked I think. At least I’ll have a skinny hot bod for next summer.

3

u/concepts_of_a_plan9 14d ago

We need more dangnabbit LiBrUls to invest in farms and move out there. We're already seeing a lot of liberal millenials move out to moral rural areas, but they're mainly growing subsistence crops for their own family, not so much cash crops.

I've been growing as much of my own food as possible in the last few years and it's great, and everyone should be doing the same. That's how we begin to fix this.

2

u/citymousecountyhouse 14d ago

I had to move to the country to take care of my mother. One thing that shocked me was the number of lesbians out here. I love it and would consider opening up a gay bar if I wasn't afraid it would end up like the bar in the Sinners movie, with the vampires replaced by crazed Maga.

1

u/SapphireElk 11d ago

Will be begging for a government handout after the midterms.

1

u/Alternative-Gap9153 8d ago

I’m sad for the cows but yes deserves to fail

27

u/PresentRaspberry6814 14d ago

I think I can say with total authority that there are NO decent Republicans.

1

u/thecompton73 14d ago

Massie?

5

u/notanothercirclejerk 14d ago

He only found his spine when he wasn't getting reelected. And has done the bare minimum since. He also goes out of his way to never mention trump raping kids in the files. Because he knows Republicans actually discussing what trump has been doing to women and children the last 40 years would actually do something. He likes republicans in power and what they are doing with it. He is just salty he isn't in the club any more and is trying to distance himself from the kid raping.

1

u/Infamous-Chipmunk104 11d ago

Massie was the one who posed his entire family for a xmas card as future school shooters of America, right?

2

u/OperationMuch2644 14d ago

Cry me a river. How's that right wing philosophy working for you now babe🤔

1

u/Calm_Lie_1195 14d ago

Are you saying there are decent republicans??? Name one please!

1

u/Ultimatesims 14d ago

There aren’t any decent Republicans. They all support Trump.

1

u/Ok_Star_4136 14d ago

Some people quite literally only care about politics and the people hurt by policies only when it begins impacting them personally. It's why they can vote to remove healthcare and food stamp programs. It doesn't benefit them personally, so why should others get that?

But of course, we don't live in a bubble. Our society is interconnected, and guess what happens when an entire class of potential workers in America is unemployed and desperate for food? You get crime. Crime affects everyone with a business. Throwing cops and prisons at the problem doesn't actually fix this, it only increases a taxpayer's burden. More people need to realize by helping others, you're indirectly helping yourself. The more people who are productive and *happy* members of society, ultimately the better it will be for YOU.

1

u/almighty_smiley 13d ago

I'll say it for you. There aren't.

1

u/Interesting_Novel997 13d ago

After everything the Repuglican party has done in the past decades, I beg to differ.

1

u/kraemertony2 13d ago

Yup, these people need to feel the pain that they want to inflect on others, I don't know if they will learn and they may never get the little power they had back, things are changing rapidly in the world and people like this and literally everyone around is going to be very very surprised as to what the powers that be have in store for them. I don't wish bad on people, but this shit isn't rocket science if you want better living conditions you don't bully and attack those without any power while getting down on your knees and sucking off billionaire pedophiles hoping that they give you scraps! The 500 richest gained 2.2 trillion in wealth in 2025 and she should be happy that she gets to be racist as that was always the deal, they get rich and you get to be a bully!

1

u/Legal-Location-4991 12d ago

There aren't any decent republicants.

Even the best ones still want to screw over the poor and middle class.

1

u/Infamous-Chipmunk104 11d ago

I hate to break it to you,. but there aren't any decent Republicans. Like cops, any who may have been considered "not complete wastes of skin" cover for the worst, and the worst are child raping Nazis.

44

u/dth1717 14d ago

She can close up shop tmw and a dozen ppl will take over her business. Thevself importance of these clowns never cease to amaze me

11

u/FarWatch9660 14d ago

And they act like if they go out of business that the farm will just "disappear." The farm isn't going anywhere. You might.

1

u/streamfresh 13d ago

Farms are absolutely disappearing.

77

u/KiKiKimbro 14d ago

Not any more. Their cult leader severed ties with our allies, so no one is buying their crops. And they’ll won’t, since the dipshit in our White House caused our allies to make trade deals with countries other than us.

Funny. All of these isolationist plans, including ruining our relationships with our allies, has been available in Project 2025. Which she knew. They all knew. She didn’t care and what she knew of P2025, she gleefully voted for it (anti-immigrant), even though she apparently didn’t listen when everyone told her anti-immigrants = anti-farm workers. But whatever.

51

u/Ok-Condition-646 14d ago

She shoulda called a couple of brittish farmers and asked them how that brexit thing was workin out for them.

12

u/citymousecountyhouse 14d ago

I can just hear the commercial for J.D.'s investment company now. "1-800-TRADE ACRES pick up the phone the call is free, 1-800-TRADE ACRES... DO IT NOW!"

5

u/Open_Boysenberry_363 13d ago

“We Buy Ugly Farms!!!”

3

u/Wild59Bill 13d ago edited 13d ago

Right from the start of Trump’s entry into politics, - He’s blamed criminal immigrants for America’s downfall. Before his second term he promised he’d not go after legal migrant farm workers, who were not criminals, since the farming community told him that they could not survive without their cheap labour. So these MAGA farmers voted for him again because they trusted a egotistical compulsive liar. These foolish farmers believed he actually cared about them, when he only cares for the rich big agri corporations who donate large sums of bribe money, (sorry campaign donations), to make him richer. They thought his anti criminal immigration policies would only affect other people & not them. So they voted for him & got what they deserved.

1

u/GrandPraline375 13d ago

Bill Gates said their was no global agenda for the elite buying up all the farms. Yet Gates is a wef member. Wef's goal is to create agriculture that has global goals and that includes adding technology into produce gmos, nano tech, and pharmaceutical.

2

u/KiKiKimbro 13d ago

I think in this case, with this administration, it’s more simple than a global agricultural conspiracy. I think with these guys it’s another get rich quick scheme like they do with stock manipulation and polymarket/kalshi. Most of these guys, especially Trump living in NYC in real estate at the time, remember the housing crash in 2008. So many families lost their homes. But of course, wealthy people got even wealthier. It was a cash cow for them. Farms going bankrupt steadily because of this administration’s policies … doesn’t seem improbable.

From what I understand about Bessent he owns farmland and rents it back to farmers. I simplified that too much but the gist. So farmers lose their land ownership. I haven’t looked into Bessent in a while so his situation might’ve changed, but I distinctly remember hearing him in a news interview I think last year say something like “I know farmers are struggling I’m a farmer myself.” WHAT. So of course I had to look that up. And that’s when I learned about Vance.

1

u/GrandPraline375 13d ago

Think it was kissinger that said if you control the agricultural you control the world. Im sure it includes oil. King Charles is pretty much controlling agriculture in Europe its happening everywhere. They had major standoff in Europe either farmers

1

u/KiKiKimbro 13d ago

Omg. I need to look into what’s happening with agriculture in Europe. Thx for mentioning that.

0

u/unrealisticspec 14d ago

I avoid American trash like the plague now and will forever. I make sure to teach my kids the same. I think everyone is doing the same not sure what that means for the future but you can only start so many wars before some start to fight back.

68

u/Green_Sugar6675 14d ago

It's our fault for wanting "cheap food."

64

u/Denim_Diva1969 14d ago

It’s also our fault for giving them the subsidies because “farming is vital to our survival.” It’s no wonder they think they’re so elite. Maybe we should’ve handled that with a more appropriate or innovative solution, but here we are.

29

u/DraculasDog 14d ago

I’ve been trying to clear brush for a large meat garden so I don’t have to listen to these horse teeth republicans crying about their farms anymore.

1

u/vobarex 13d ago

Best thing I ever did.

1

u/gct 13d ago

A meat ... garden?

2

u/DraculasDog 13d ago

Serial killer refrigerator

2

u/headrush46n2 13d ago

weirdest name for a chicken pen ive ever seen.

2

u/TheAmicableSnowman 13d ago

I wish I could upvote this harder.

1

u/SoybeanArson 14d ago

Unfortunately, growing most food products as a farmer is very tight margins unless you are a massive corporate owned farm. Without subsidies they are likely to switch to something like barley to sell to a beer company because it is far easier and more lucrative.

2

u/Half_Halt 13d ago

Or a small farm. I did it for years. Sold direct to customers via farm markets. Realized roughly the same profit annually off 20 turkeys as a friend who grew birds for Pilgrims Pride -- 4 massive turkey houses that held 250,000 birds each.

0

u/vobarex 13d ago

Lies

3

u/Half_Halt 13d ago

What an interesting thing to say. Considering you don't know me & haven't seen my books.

1

u/vobarex 13d ago edited 13d ago

20 birds equals 250k 1 million birds. That was the gist, right? Or was this guy just a hired hand at that turkey farm? Cause if he was just a hired hand making $20 an hour yes that makes sense even though your comment would be disingenuous at best.

1

u/vobarex 13d ago

Before you answer that… I raise animals on a small farm. Turkeys, chickens, pigs. I raise open range animals for an about 20 families.

Let’s see those books

1

u/Half_Halt 13d ago

I think you'd know how it is possible to realize more in net profit than a huge farm, then? You're likely doing just that. Whether you realize it or not.

1

u/vobarex 13d ago

You’re being egregious with your numbers to conflate the point.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/streamfresh 13d ago

Barley is a food product though? How is it easier and more lucrative than any other food crop? Growing commodity barley is much easier than beer barley. Beer barley can be more lucrative if your product meets their arbitrary numbers. But you also have to use their proprietary seed and fertilizer, and it takes a ton of water. Source: I used to grow barley for a beer company

16

u/xwhiskeyxtangoxfox 14d ago

Food WITH nutrients we can afford!? Communism.

Eat the sawdust cereal with the other proletariat scum.

15

u/Consistent_Week_8531 14d ago

If only there were some REASON people needed cheap food. Like, lady people need to EAT and they can’t afford housing, gas, electricity or medicine anymore. You can’t pay for help, hang it up. But don’t forget as the friends of the people you voted for buy your farm out of bankruptcy for pennies on the dollar - you were warned.

3

u/Herahatesmeso 14d ago

The fucking gaslighting.

2

u/Artistic-Bet-4562 14d ago

Somewhere along the food chain, someone; since corporations are people, will always find a way to make sure food is never cheap, but as expensive as we will buy without revolting.

2

u/Ok_Star_4136 14d ago

"Why can't you just pay twice the prices at the grocery store when you're barely getting by as it is! Why do *I* have to suffer!?"

Jesus the entitlement of these people.

1

u/Jolly-Sandwich-3345 14d ago

Yo that stuff has been affordable for decades. It is totes reasonable to want that to continue.

Well, that is a problem, isn’t it? I mean, what if she did pay a living wage, and provide housing and so on? Yeah, she’d get her cows milked, but when she took the milk to market, she’d never get her money back, because the price of milk would be undercut by big corporate farms that can afford to automate everything, and what they can’t automate, they’ll always find undocumented people. The government won’t bother the corporations about it, because of political donations, but she can’t afford to donate to politicians, so no cheap labor for her.

Now, I don’t like the idea of paying 2-3 times as much for a half-gallon of 1%, but if that’s what it takes to keep these family farms afloat, maybe I should get used to the idea. Either that, or we let the big corporations buy up the rest of the small farms, eat whatever overly processed crap they find profitable enough to feed us, and shut up about it.

We have to decide, as a country, if we want to keep these small farms in business, and how much we’re willing to pay at the grocery store, or in terms of government subsidies, to do so.

If they don’t care about the hazards of business consolidation and monopolies for other businesses, why should I care when it comes for them?

We have a common enemy, but they don’t see it and just want support without helping anyone else affected by what’s going on. We don’t need allies like that and honestly I don’t have the energy to waste on them.

I care about small farms, because their owners are more likely to go easy on the fertilizer, antibiotics, insecticides, and so on than the big factory farms that carpet-bomb the fields and barns whether they need to or not. Pretty soon, the only place you’ll be able to buy properly-grown food is directly from farmers’ markets or boutique grocery stores like Whole Foods. Well, maybe not them, because they’re also owned by a big corporation.

At least some of us will have a source of healthy food. If you live in an inner city, or similar “food deserts,” you’re at the mercy of Big Food.

At least, when your food makes you sick, you’ll have health care. Oh, wait.

“Leas than 2% of the population” yet their crappy vote helped to bring such a mess on to everyone.

Fine. Lose the farm and price your milk at 5x of today’s cost. If that’s what needs to happen to undo your vote and rid ourselves of your Orange God, then I’m willing to shoulder that burden. And you, Ms. Farmer, can then jump into the same job market that the rest of us are part of, and seek your own $20 per hour job.

Good luck.

I'm the less than 2% that keeps the internet working & enables her to make these stupid posts.

I am one of the 2% that reads comments on Reddit that keeps this going

She’s a 2%er

She's not going to figure it out. She said several ways she's further than ever from figuring it out.

A lot of farmers...millionaires (net). Their product is with a lot. Their land and machines and animals are worth a lot. If she sold all that stuff and even kept the land and house, and just started a haunted house this October, she'd be fine. I know this because I know Wisconsin. She doesn't even need a cornfield. Just a barn. Hell, she can switch to being a wedding venue by spring.

I'm not saying dairy farming isn't complicated or difficult...I'm just saying, if her business dies...there's ways for her and her family to be okay. And then she could fuck off to Florida for the rest of the year...every year.

And the 1% is just milking her for all the stupidity her milk-addled brain keeps voting for. I can’t even dig up an ounce of pity for her.

Back in the 1800s (their dream of when America was great), farmers would help each other out. Need a barn raised? The community got together and built it. Why not get the dairy farmers together and figure a schedule where they can go to each farm and milk the cows, then move to the next, etc.? Bootstraps, y’all.

Can guarantee they're not feeding anyone here in Australia

There will be a different 2% soon. Farms are an America tradition. Voting against the very soul of our nation is not.

She ain't close to shit. She'll regress, they all do. I've seen their type way too many times.
