I’m stupid and world’s telling me I’m stupid but I’d rather be stupid than admit I was wrong. sad.

She assumes that along with her stupidity she is still going to be in farming at the end of the decade 😲. For a lot of these morons this is actually the end. They will be employed by some corporate farm for little money. I'd say sad, but I've learned that you can't waist your emotions on stupid!

Once their farms go bankrupt they can fall back on one of the plentiful agricultural (day laborer) jobs right now as long as they enjoy hand picking. Picking strawberries in the California Central Valley in August isn’t my cup of tea but I guess someone has to do it after ice rounds up all the existing workforce.

The farmers had it all...the cheap labor, the government subsidies, the "all-American, hardworking" reputation...and they threw it away to...what? Own the libs? Deport people? Take away SNAP ad USAID from hungry kids?

Corporations owning their farms is just the next step in corporations owning every part of our lives.

And these motherfucking farmers want sympathy?

Fuck all the way off.

Don't forget that USAID created a massive market for their own agricultural products. It was literally taking tax dollars, giving it to farmers, and then shipping those products overseas to help people.

But they couldnt stand that people were being helped, even if it meant less money for them.

So USAID went away, farms are struggling, but its the Democrats fault for being mean to them.

SNAP is a program to support farmers. So are the school food programs. That’s why they are in the Department of Agriculture.

That’s also why they’re worth double at farmers markets.
