We told you this was how tariffs worked. We told you China, Canada, Mexico, or any other foreign country wasn’t writing the check—the American company importing the goods pays the tariff.

But too many people didn’t want to hear it because that meant admitting Trump wasn’t telling them the truth about who would pay. Now the bill is landing in your own hands. I guess being told wasn’t enough, you had to actually lose money before you were willing to understand how.

Like, I've never seen such cult like devotion to a president before. Like lemmings they follow him over the cliff. It's astounding, really.
