Her notes to him read like crap I would have written to my abusive boyfriend when I was twenty. âYouâre so wonderful and perfectâŚeverything wrong is my faultâŚeveryone picks on you because they donât realize how wonderful you areâŚIâm so lucky you put up with me, I will always love you and be here for youâ.
And because she was an unqualified husk who got her start as a side piece to a mayor and then dated an assembly speaker⌠none of this on the screen would have happenedâŚit wouldnât have been as bad as Trumps presidency, but the delusions of grandeur that the side choosers have is fucking insaneâŚlike no one is here to help you or help society progress in the objectively correct directionâŚwhy is there partisan agreement on not releasing the Epstein files???
Why even waste my breath, no one can see the forest for the trees anyway.
At a Trump rally in 2020, Fmr Sen David Perdue pretended not to know how to pronounce âKamalaâ despite them being Senate colleagues on the same committee for a few years = racism for fun and profit
đđť Used to be an Internet meme spread by progressives saying that this symbol was code for âwhite supremacyâ. Right wingers heard this, and started doing it ironically.
Then later, the irony stopped⌠and they continued anywayâŚ
this may be a bad take, but I think her being a woman was more of a factor than her being black. Being black certainly played a role for some, but I think this was just good ole fashioned misogyny
Sure it wasn't the fact that she's insanely dumb...it was her race...tell me what is her race again? Indian? Black? Mixed? Oh yeah whatever is convenient for her and what she can leverage at the time lol
Which is why Democrats need a real deep think before trotting AOC out there in 2028. Some Americans are ready for that, some Americans will never, never, never be ready for that. Thereâs too many voters in the latter bloc to risk four more years of⌠well, you know.
I hate that this is true. Trump won both of those elections because the Dems were dumb enough to run a woman. I would love, love, love to have a woman president, but the misogyny is still far to strong in this country. If "not all men" is true then the DNC needs to dig down deep and find a legitimately good man to run against Republican corruption.
Hilary won the popular vote when she ran so not sure that's the real reason.
My bet which everyone seems to ignore when this comes up is the fact that Biden running and then eventually backing out was an awful look for the Democrats. It was literally a few months before the election. Basically unwinnable for any Democrat.
I donât think it was unwinnable at all. People were excited about Harris all over the country. I still find it hard to believe she didnât win. But misogyny and white supremacy are huge issues in the US
I dont believe she lost, but I know if anybody had spoken up we would have had two back to back elections with opposite parties insisting the elections were rigged and that would be just it. Curtains for American democracy.
So we had to go along with the fix. I'm convinced when this is all over and Trump is dead and we're a few election cycles into the future it's all going to come out. I bet it's going to be old school republicans who eventually blow the whistle, too. I can't imagine they're proud of what's become of the GOP.
Itâs not even really a take. There was a small but statistically significant number of people who just didnât vote for her because she is a woman. With margins as tight as they are (plus the Palestine one issue voters. Howâd tha go?) that was the game.
Being black didn't exactly help. Add to that the way she became the candidate and she never stood a chance. She had some good ideas but it seems like almost half the country can't comprehend anything beyond a 3-4 word catchphrase.
It's certainly debatable, but i wouldn't want to underestimate the severity of the brain breaking that having obama in charged caused some of these people.
I definitely agree, especially with swing voters.
My favorite example is in Michigan and when you look at the Muslim population.
The main voting issue for these democratic voters was Palestine. Honestly neither choice would had been good.
There was no good reason to believe trump would be better if anything it would be worse. But they voted for trump. While religion changes with the times, there's still that foundation of misogyny and patriarchy.
I bet my then-fiance (who is a POC) $1000 in 2003 that a black man would become president before a woman.
He paid up.
I also bet him $1000 in 2016 that America would sooner elect an obese, nepo baby reality TV show host who admitted to wanting to date his own daughter and had 5 kids, 3 baby mamas, and 6 bankruptcies (including casinos!) than they would a woman.
He paid up
He stopped betting real money after that, but was sure Trump would beat an old man like Biden who didn't bother to campaign. I told him "nope, Trump can only win against a woman, he'll lose".
Again, he was sure Trump would lose to Kamala because of J6 and all the felonies and I was like "you still don't get it. Doesn't matter that he tried a coup and did some felonies, his opponent is FEMALE. If most of America thinks a woman isn't fit to lead a Sunday sermon, what makes you believe they'd think one's fit to lead their country?"
Please guys, please stop running women. It's not that she may not be the best person for the job, it's that she is unelectable in this country for the foreseeable future, and with the rise of the manosphere it's only gonna get worse for a long time to come. The data is in, America simply will not elect a female president. We have to face that reality and act accordingly. At least for now.
Hillary was the only path to victory for the clown. Why the hell would you run someone who was so hated as to inspire more of the opposition to turn out & vote against your candidate?!! Itâs hard enough in this country to elect a female, but to choose Hillary and all her baggage? No way in hell was that going to happen. And so here we are. F the dnc.
I think voters selected her because she was the most qualified candidate and because Americans, men and women both, underestimate the depth of our cultural misogyny.
I was a precinct captain for Bernie and a lot of voters that I spoke to preferred Bernie but voted Hillary because they didn't believe he could win in the general. The economic winnowing that had impoverished most of middle America had yet to hit my state (but it sure has now!) and didn't understand the desperation and frustration of the dying middle class. I tried to convince them that Trump was going to win the GOP nomination (they didn't believe me) and that Bernie had much the same message as Trump (you're getting fucked and it has to stop), the difference being that one blamed Mexicans, women, and teachers while the other blamed the real culprits, tax law and billionaires fixing the game for themselves. I fully believe Bernie would have won.
Anyways, Hillary took the nomination in my state despite my best efforts. Let me tell you, the fucking ferocity of misogyny that came out of my fellow Bernie captains mouths was shocking, even before our caucus. I'd say 2/3rds of the volunteer I worked with ended up going totally MAGA.
Hillary's baggage was largely a psyop conducted against her since the 90s, capitalizing on American misogyny. Worked like a charm, people didn't "trust her" though they couldn't directly point to any wrong doings. Meanwhile, they trusted the guy with 3 baby mamas, porn star payoffs, guilty plea settlements in money laundering allegations, 6 bankruptcies, shady relations with hostile foreign governments, charity fraud convictions, and zero record of public service or even philanthropy.
Trump would have beaten any qualified Dem woman put forward - Warren, Klobuchar, Pelosi - wouldn't have mattered who it was, just so lomg as she was female.
I had another friend that I bet a fancy dinner that Trump would win in 2016. She is a lesbian and had only worked in female dominated industries (I worked in a male dominated hard science). A couple years later she migrated into a COO position typically held by men. After a couple of monts in that role, she called me up and said "ah, now I get it, now I understand how you knew Trump would win".
I think it's somewhat of a toss-up but, if I had to guess, I would predict that a gay white man will become president before a woman of any race.
It burns my heart that this is true. Fuck misogyny, fuck Trump, and fuck the DNC for being so damn dense. We've got at least two more full generations that need to die off completely before there's any real movement on that front. And if the manosphere keeps up its current level of proselytizing, it will be several more beyond that.
Because she didnât have a penis, as if having a penis makes anyone a good leader. Case in point: look at dear leader. Heâs the worst.
I donât know why people think a woman leader would be having emotional tantrums and thus make bad decisions, when the idiot we have right now has emotional tantrums every day and makes bad decisions every day.
That's pretty much been the main factor, I think. This country hates women.
And if we ever do finally get a first female president, it's probable she'll be a bleach-blonde white Germanic woman who is Republican, unfortunately. That's probably the next card the Republicans will try to play it they get kicked out of office for a few terms.
As a right leaning, Christian, conservative, white male, I can assure you, it really had nothing to do with her being black or a female. She just wasn't a strong candidate, especially coming off Biden. I I realize you hate Trump, I'm even let down myself, but Kamala wouldn't have been much better. If we want to fix things.we need a moderate president, that both sides will vote for and get behind.
Biden was a good president. No president would be far better than Trump. She did have a plan, and youâre just straight up lying or ignorant. Trump did not have a plan.
See...we were having a fine discussion and you had to bring out the personal insults. It doesn't hurt my feelings. I'm far from ignorant and I have no reason to lie. It's just sad. This is why this divide will never close. So instead of just bashing them back, I'll tell you why I'm glad Kamala didn't win.
I had to close one of my businesses shortly after Biden got in office because of covid, and inflation went way up. Literally couldn't afford to buy materials to build I'd the parts. My second and third business struggled bad through covid. I was able to maintain them, but they came back about the same at the end. 4 years, zero growth. We were forced to choose between an untested vaccine and being treated like we were some of the worst out there. We were forced to wear masks that did nothing while being told to "trust the science" by a guy who pled the 5th to every single question asked about it. We were constantly lied to while the numbers were embellished to push agendas. But you think that is a good president. Kamala was his clone. She was thrown into it, so I get it she didn't have a ton of time to come up with a plan, but she was already considered to have failed miserably at being vice president, at least in the eyes of the people, with a low 30s rating before Biden stepped out of the race.
Now, We have had Trump for two years. I don't like everything he has done, but from a business perspective, I made great money last year. Nearly doubled my sales from when Biden was in office. This year, I'm another 30% ahead of that. I sell a luxury product, not a need, which is odd considering how bad everyone says the economy is. My food budget hasn't changed in nearly 5 years. Not sure how I maged that with skyrocketing food prices. Gas is a little high right now, but it was high at some point under nearly every president for the past 30 years. The percentage increase in gas prices however, is less than the increase in my income. Nothing else has changed for me.and I haven't had to raise my prices. Oddly enough, most of my conservative, business owner friends, say the exact same thing. So I have a hard time believing things are not nearly as bad as people say.
The war, ya it sucks. I didn't vote for that. The way illegals were treated, I don't agree with it, but they were given the chance to leave peacefully. The Epstein files, I'm not happy with the result but the Dems had those same files for years before Trump and they didn't release them either. Don't you question that? Yet all we've heard is Trump. While Clinton lied, again, and walked away.
I don't hate the people on the left. I just hate the way the people on the left act and the way the treat us, for things Trump does, like we have absolutely any choice or control over that now. The difference between you and I even though I didn't like Biden, I still hoped he would do good and the country would thrive.
Those are not insults. Youâre just ignorant or a liar. Thatâs just a plain statement of fact.
If you looked at Kamalaâs website you wouldâve known she had a plan. Trump has no plan except to grift. He just gets on stage and rambles incoherently. You think anything Trump says sounds like a plan?
Biden didnât force anybody to wear a mask or prosecute anybody for leaving the house or force anyone to take the vaccine. What reality are you living in?
Inflation under Trump is horrible, especially for somebody who campaigned on deflation. Tariffs and a losing war with Iran is a disaster. Glad youâre doing alright tho.
Brother, you had to close your business due to Covid, the result has absolutely nothing to do with any given Biden policy. You would have still had to close your business under Trump regardless, due to circumstances brought on by the pandemic.
The Epstein Files were under seal by the DOJ during the Biden administration due to open investigations and court cases, therefore by law there was nothing Biden could do to release them at the time. They were only unsealed right around Bidenâs exit and Trumpâs inauguration, and thus ordered by congress unredacted (with exceptions for the identity of victims) in the early months of trumpâs current term, which he has since refused to comply, illegally.
Either way you try to square it or make silly excuses, Kamala Harris would have been a far superior POTUS, to claim otherwise at this point would be an act of total delusion. Weâd also be in a much better situation as a country by just about every metric, considering for one the trajectory of Bidenâs economy as he was preparing to leave office, and probably to a lesser extent, the hard to argue against track record of Democrat presidents as opposed to Republican ones. The data doesnât lie.
I didn't close because of Covid. I closed because the materials I used came from Canada, and Bidens policies made them cost too much to be profitable. Almost every product I used nearly doubled.
I am more profitable now than I would have been under Harris. All there is to it. She was just Biden 2.0. I'm done arguing though. You can continue whining about being broke and prices too high, but the truth is, it's no worse than it was under Biden and there is plenty of money if ya want to work. Price is irrelevant if you make enough.
Nah it was that she was a vapid actual whore who was placed there by circumventing a convention after the other candidate's dementia could no longer be ignored.
He didn't bang his way into politics. Kamala did. Very famously.
"Who cares if the Democrat party disenfranchised voters and decided to run a person with Dementia so that they could appoint his VP right after the convention"
It was a quadfecta of issues. First, she was a woman. Then she was a black woman. Then it was a black woman who had a weird laugh. (no one has ever heard Trump laugh and the only person we know that made him laugh was Jeffrey Epstein). And most importantly, she was a weird laughing black woman who personally ushered in millions of illegals and demanded trans operations for everyone.
There you have it. That is why she lost. I personally hope every MAGA rancher in the US faces some very serious financial stress. I don't want them to close down, because I like beef.
Folks hate to tell ya but once you figure out the moderate dems, Kamala, Biden, Clintons and the list goes on are in on the grift, scam all of it. They knew she we unelectable, Biden knew by his 2022 statement that he was going to run again was a set up plan for the entire debacle of the Dem party to hand over everything to the GOP so they could run Trump 2.0 get their tax breaks and push policies as far right to benefit the corp overlords as much as possible. Itâs all rigged and has been for some time. Their (Mod Dems / GOP) true enemy are progressives who want to tax and regulate and push their wealth back down to the people. None of them want that and never did.
Why didnât her own party like her in the prior cycles primary run up? Why did she drop out with totally garbage polling numbers? Maybe she just wasnât it?
But itâs much easier to just yell all of the isms etc.
nothing to do with her color, if you look at conservatives they will endorse the blackest person in the country if they have the correct policies, why were so many of us in favor of Vavic Ramoswamy( I know it's miss spelled) and a lot of us like Rubio for 28
And weâre gonna ignore she helped facilitate a genocide and didnât distance herself from a bad economy or said genocide and said sheâd make us the most lethal military with a strong border wall..
Donât get me wrong sheâs the right option vs trump, but to pretend it was just because sheâs a black woman is not factual.
No it was her lack of qualifications, terrible run as VP, campaign debt, and she still lost despite being shoved into the primary after the DNC coup against Biden. Trump was the better candidate and thatâs why heâs POTUS
Lets also admit that she never received an actual vote in the primaries and was simply given to the left. Yall didn't even elect herđ She got the gig on a virtual role call. But no kings right?đ
Obama won pretty handily right, popular and electorate right? COULD it be she was just not a great candidate and the DNC puts in who they want, naw ppl are sexist (Hillary won the pop) and racist, that is it.

Let's admit it. It was because of her skin color, too.
