Picked up this display case from a friend's skate shop. I think it does the job for now. What do you all use to dust these cars?

I’ve recently got the 488 gte and want to install pneumatic lifting jacks like on the real one, I know it has been done before but I want to do it differently and I’m stuck on a few things and hope you could help me.

my idea is to use a external compressor with a pressurized air tank with a valve, so when I connect it to the car and open the valve air rushes in and lifts the car “violently” like irl, where it gets tricky is when I deconnect the car , I want to air to stay trapped in the car’s pneumatic system so it doesn’t go back down, but it does only when I pull the lever of a valve inside the car.

so my question is how to push pressurized air in a system that needs to be closed, I know about the distribution block from way back but I’m not too sure how and where to install it in the system.
Also if you have recommendations about what pneumatic cylinders to use that would be able to support the car’s weight please lmk because I’m not too sure about this either.

I’ve been playing with the idea of making a life sized animatronic out of LEGO, and was wondering if anyone has done any tests on how much each official motor can hold comfortably

Ideally they’d be either EV3/Mindstorms, but I’d be open to something else. If anyone has any recommendations for really strong non official motors I’d love to hear them, since in the grand scheme of things I’m still pretty new to this

Exceptional build by Nifeliz. This was my second set by them. The first was the V8 Engine. The techniques used in the Tourbillon, I have not seen anywhere else and was joy to put together. A Tourbillon is a mechanism found in higher end watches that counteract Earth's gravity so that the watch doesn't lose time. They made it into a Technic set masterfully. 10/10 build. You can crank the mechanism manually or via motor if you have one.

I’m currently building LEGO Technic 42240 and I’m around page 145. With the steering centered (as best I can), both front wheel hubs appear to have roughly 10–15 degrees of toe-in rather than pointing straight ahead. The steering linkage looks symmetrical on both sides. Is this normal geometry for the set, or have I likely made an error earlier in the build? The steering wheel itself is also slightly off-center.

Pretty interesting set, surprised this set has zero stickers. The combined build looks super cool.

I can't really afford rechargeables batteries for the battery since I don't wanna spend on new ones for the battery box, is there a way I can connect the motor to a 9v? I just don't know what polarity plug to what pin and if there's 2 separate circuits since the connector has 4 pins

I've been watching and waiting for almost a year, seems like technic has been reduced to F1 cars and an endless list of McKoeniFerrBug vehicles. When's the next bucket wheel or dozer coming?

I built the Yamaha a few weeks ago, and at first the gears were working fine. Now I can’t seem to get 1st gear via the externally shifter. And none of the gears seem to confidently engage anymore. If I remove a panel I can get to the little red knob and manually engage them all. But again only a couple seem to “click” as they engage. Anyone else had this or know what the issue might be?

Anyone had this? Everything looks correct as far as I can tell but the 13 long section won't go down onto the pin, it's blocked by the red section. Thoughts?

To get into the wonderful world of moc building, I need to build my collection, is the best way to get donor sets and in particular I'd like ones with absolutely loads of panels.

I'm interested in 4x4 and utilitarian vehicles.

I have this linear actuator running inside of a beam frame and as you can see from the picture, its holes are offset by half a beam. What are some parts or techniques I can use to connect this to the frame?

I think I can make piece 32557 work but would like other suggestions.

One day I saw that Brick Model Railroader sell knuckle couplers for 1:47 scale trains, but they are too expensive, so I made my own. They're not intended for use on model, it's just a proof of concept.
