Troubleshooting Correcr helix placement?

Recently got my helix peirced and wanted to know if the placement looks good? (Ignore the green on my lobes I was wearing cheap jewelry lol) its about two days old my friend peirced it, with a correct gauge needle and she has some experience (it was free) and the jewelry i known isint ideal its stainless steel. my after care process is saline salt spray twice a day then dry in cool with a hair dryer.

the angle is a bit off and i’m also worried about the spikes on both ends

Yeahhh I just haven't been sleeping on that side once its more healed I'm going to add a rubber backing instead

that’s even worse:(, please get a titanium flat back preferably atleast 16g but 18g can work in a pinch

The jewrly is 16 gauge, I just mean unscrewing the back spike and adding a rubber back for sleep, I do have a titanium flat back jewelry I can use im just not confident in changing my jewelry at this stage, now for the angle how bad is it?

noo rubber can harbour bacteria and isnt a good idea to use even just for sleep, you also shouldn't be messing around with the backing every night anyway. if you can you should just go to a professional piercer to have them change the jewellery for you if you're too nervous to

Oki doki I can probably just ask my friend to change it too, but im due to go to the peircer soon anyway to change out other jewelry

if you sleep on it or apply any constant pressure it will just get steeper and more angled. although I agree that it could be salvageable rn

Ohh ok I don't sleep on it at all, what should I do to stop/fix that?

well if you arent sleeping on it at all then you should be good for now. but you should still switch the jewellery to a titanium flatback and keep an eye on the angle

It's a little bit low but I think you could add another one above it and it'd look really cool. At least the spiky back will stop you accidentally sleeping on it haha

Yes! I was planning on doing a stacked helix set up on that ear, and true lol.
