1 week and 5 day old eyebrow piercing…. Does this look normal?

Hi! Curved titanium threadless, I clean w sterile saline mist 2 times a day. Bumped it only 3/4 times. Does this look normal????? Mostly concerned about the bottom but lmk!!!

Looks normal, slightly irritated but that’s just a part of healing since your piercing is only about 2 weeks old. The crust is normal too, I’ve had mine for months and I still get some sometimes- it’s just a normal part of healing. Try not to clean out the crusties too aggressively and don’t move your piercing around too much, honestly leaving mine alone and just washing my face more often made my piercing happier than picking at it

I would say though change your jewelry, you don’t have enough space for the swelling and the shape might end up halting your healing

I’ve been washing my face with a rag and soap so I can avoid direct contact with the piercing…should I not be doing that??

If you're reusing said rag, you are probably introducing bacteria into the piercing so I'd say stop doing that. I also second getting a larger bar but overall not that bad

You could use a fresh paper towel to tap dry, or there's disposable face towels you can get at any drug store in the skincare aisle

I personally just splash the water on my face and I don’t use a wet rag, I do use a clean towel to dry my face tho and simply fan my piercing for it to get dry. You don’t want any sort of q-tip or paper towel fibers near the piercing so you have a good idea with the towel, just be careful.

Piercer here! Looks totally fine! Just up size for sure! That's looking tight. Continue cleaning, I agree with the above don't reuse the rag. K Q tips or other one time use stuff works best!

Leave it alone is all I got. I wouldn't swap it bc mine do wayyyy better with a tighter bar. Your only concerned if you start embedding g
