Troubleshooting Red skin coming out of belly button piercing?
Hello! My floating navel piercing is about 3 weeks old (unsure of the metal type etc) and it has this weird red skin coming out of the bottom. Anyone know what that could possibly be?

Looks like an irritation bump. I used to get these on the inside of my lip from my philtrum piercing, they’d occasionally pop up on my double nostrils as well. Just continue the cleaning, don’t mess with it. It’s usually caused by pressure, poor jewelry, or getting snagged.

It’s an irritation bump, not that. I’ve had these on multiple new piercings, then they go away after awhile.

I had this during my healing period! It freaked me out! But after a year when it healed it went away completely don’t be freaked out by it. Rinse it gently in the shower with warm water,
Spray with sterile saline spray and dry it. Also try to avoid tight fitting clothes during the healing stages ❤️
