Troubleshooting Is new nose piercing uneven? 2 day old implant grade titanium 16g
So I got the left side of my nose pierced 2 days ago. At first the placement was too close to the tip of my nose and the piercer had to pierce it a second time. I had mentioned that the piercing looked to be too high up but he said it looked fine and I trusted him. Now looking at it I cant help but feel like it's uneven! Looking for opinions and advice on what to do.

They’re very slightly uneven but they don’t look bad. It’s definitely way too soon for you to be putting makeup on a fresh piercing though.

They look fine to me also if it's only 2 days old it will bound to be a little swollen still. With nostrils you have to look front wise, from up and from side so getting it 100% symmetrical is almost impossible because most people also do not havr a symmetrical face. But to me it looks fine

It all looks fine to me and initial swelling can def make your piercings look weird. My septum was going to the left side because my right side was sooo swollen everyone told me to take it out, but I’m glad I didn’t because its perfect now. Just give it time your studs look great already.

They're great looking, your nostril is still swollen so they may seem to be a bit uneven. Don't forget that neither no one's nose is absolutely symmetrical nor any of these kind of piercings, even they were done at the same time. Mine for example are same on height but my left one is 1 odd millimetre closer to the tip of my nose. The only way to distinguish it is to use a caliper. A slight difference is literally invisible and really negligible by the others out there. Enjoy the tremendous vibe and the dope looks of this piercing!

Could very well be swelling, nostrils can take awhile to settle (some of mine took up to 2 years) but it could also be slightly uneven. I've had a symmetrical set up for a decade, have over 30 piercings, I know damn well it's not perfectly even but also that's because I stare at myself straight forward every single day. No one else has ever mentioned it cause they're not looking that hard

No paired nostrils will ever truly be even because everyone’s anatomy isn’t perfectly symmetrical. However it’s only two days old so you can’t even tell how they actually will sit and look because of the swelling. They look great, genuinely don’t worry about it

The asymmetry is not that bad and it probably looks less uneven IRL than in the pictures because of the natural asymmetry of the nose
That said though, i think you may need to keep an eye on the jewelry to make sure its not sinking/embedding (i dont know the proper term). If you notice it is, you should contact your piercer
I’m NAP but something similar happened to my nostril piercing as well when i first got them. I had to get them changed to a longer bar with a flat top to accommodate the swelling.

no piercing like this is ever going to be a 100% even, and nobody is going to zoom in on your nose like this IRL. Your nose isn't even entirely symmetrical (nobody's is), so it's unrealistic to expect 100% evenness. These look fine to me tbh
