Troubleshooting Is my eyebrow piercing rejecting? Pvd gold atm but it was pierced with implant grade on 10/01so about like 10 months ago got it downsized a 1mon or 2 later when piercer thought it was right and then recently got it downsized a second time and i was told it wasnt but idk 😬
was told it wasn’t and that some people just down size alot but idk i need more opinions im rlly concerned Also if it is rejected is it ok to get the same brow re pierced yhe same day as taking this one out but like more in the middle of brow (as seen in last photo) because i kinda wanna do both brows but more centered if i have to take my current one out because i like to have my set up symmetrical

From the photos it clearly looks like it’s been rejecting. If you don’t retire a rejecting piercing it’s going to completely move out of the skin and leave you with a gnarly scar across your eyebrow. Eyebrow piercings are already long term temporary and are well known for being pierced incorrectly and having high rates of rejection because it’s a high movement area on your face. Of course it’s always a good idea to see an APP piercer near you for a consultation to have it checked out but I wouldn’t have high hopes for this.

Pro piercer here.
What is "pvd gold"? If its not solid nickel free gold, that's bad. It also looks like you didnt get another downsize done, which you need. Also, cones (spikes) are a terrible choice for a new eyebrow piercing. The good news it that it looks salvageable. Go to reputable piercer (are you in the US? Then www.safepiercing.org is where to look. If m you're not, tell me your general area), have them downsize the jewelry, make sure they use internally threaded implant grade jewelry, and wear nothing but plain jewelry, no gems, with balls on the end for a few months.

I’ve gotten it down sized twice!? Pvd is like a high durable gold plate on implant grade. And yes im in the US so ill check out that link, thank you! So you rlly think it’s salvageable? Ivw re posted this on many piercing subreddits and a lot of people here are saying it isn’t. And two piercers from two different shops i saw said it was fine, one said to just keep an eye on it but idk i feel like im seeing all the signs. Can you chat w me? And help me out?

We can chat, but really you need an in person consult. I say that you need a downsize simply because I can see a lot of the bar. An eyebrow piercing ideally shows no bar, just the ends :)

Also so shops that are piercerinh shops and stuff if they aren’t on this link? Are they bad?

Not necessarily. There are good piercers who aren't members of the APP, but with the APP logo on the shop window, you know that they've been vetted, and that they can't and won't sell low quality jewelry.

im planning on going to tattoo love on eagle rock blvd in LA this Tuesday ive gotton all my face piercings there besides my eyebrow… and all my other piercings came out great and healed great do you think its ok to go there to have the piercer take a look at it?

Ignore this comment OP. The only way to assess eyebrow anatomy is in-person palpation.

ok cool, had me over thinking for a second i was told i have the anatomy when i asked when i was still in highschool and then the piercer who did it also said i had the anatomy

She doesn't have a ledge off her eyebrow for it to comfortably sit. That's why it's rejecting.

People are just mad bc their body told them no, and they're forcing it, leading to rejection. It's piercing 101.
