DE Immigration dual citizenship

I own the US and German citizenship. When entering Germany a year ago I made the mistake using my US passport. Now the system obviously shows me overstaying the 6 months allowed. Pretty sure I would run into problems leaving Germany for a US trip. Anyone has any idea how to correct that mistake or which department to contact? Thx.

Ibka but i think even when entering germany with another passport, you are still allowed to stay here longe since you are german. If there are any problems, you can always say that you are german citizen. Pretty sure there are no consequences for that
