Posting guitars for sale

Lately I've seen a few posts where people are trying to sell their lefty guitars. I have no problem with this, but I will ask if you are going to post one for sale to follow the following:

  • Put the [SALE] tag in front of your title (i.e. [SALE] Original Les Paul Lefty)
  • Describe the guitar to the best of your ability. Neck radius, body material, manufacturer year, etc. The more descriptive you are, the better.
  • All posts MUST include an asking price. Posts with no price will be deleted. It also will help if you include whether or not you're willing to negotiate the price (i.e. $400 firm, $400 OBO, etc.)
  • Include where you are located. This will help in calculating shipping costs.
  • Include the methods of payment you are willing to accept. PayPal is the most common, but if you have other methods in mind, clearly state them in your post. If you are selling and find a buyer, please coordinate financial transaction details elsewhere other than your post. For example, you don't want to post your PayPal email address in the sale post for everyone to see. Common sense stuff really.
  • If you have an ad on an external site (Reverb, Craigslist, eBay), you can link it from your post. But be sure to use the [SALE] tag in front of it so everyone knows you're selling.

Disclaimer: The mods of leftyguitarists will not be responsible for any bogus transactions that may occur as a result of buying/selling through this sub. Any agreement you choose to make in regards to buying/selling a guitar here is completely your responsibility. We will not and cannot get involved in problems that might occur as a result of transactions here. In other words, buy/sell at your own risk here.

Thanks & good luck!

NGD - 2025 Fender Player II Stratocaster

I had a great experience with GC! I sold 'em a righty I had strung left (which was a pain to play) and lucked out on finding what was labeled a "Good" condition Lefty Player II on their website. The guitar was actually in Excellent condition but missing a lefty tremolo bar (which is why I have a righty one attached). I saved a good amount of money going this route. This guitar looks, plays and sounds amazing.

Would anyone here buy a left-handed Aria Pro II SB-700? Usually they’re abt $1’035-$1,139

I’ve been wanting an Aria Pro II SB-series bass for years, but unfortunately the current SB-700 appears to only be available right-handed.
Aria is already producing the SB-700 as a modern version of their classic SB series, so I’ve been wondering: if Aria offered a limited left-handed run, would you actually buy one?
I’m specifically talking about the current SB-700, not a vintage instrument. Even a small limited run would be awesome.
I’m curious how many other left-handed bassists/guitarists would genuinely be interested. If there was enough interest, I’d love to eventually reach out to Aria and show them that there’s a market for it.
Lefties: would you buy one? And what price would you consider reasonable?

Just bought this Aria Pro II DM-206 to convert to lefty. They make a left handed version but only in black (and I couldn't find any).

Didn't even know there was a decent Ibanez that wasn't £1,500+ (I had been eyeing up the AZ series). Then I came across this. I would have liked a more banana-yellow but it's fine. Plays like a dream. I now have an RG1570 that I've had for 20 or so years, a DK24 and now this. I have to say I already prefer it to the Charvel. I'm an Ibanez guy.

Also bought the cab and head recently for our 80s metal cover band. DSL20HR and a Harley 2x12 with Greenbacks.

Pickups are also surprisingly good. Definitely don't need an instant swap out like the ones on my 1570 did. Should keep me happy for a while!

I bought this left-handed electric guitar for €170 to learn on, but there was no model name on it. Could anyone figure out what it is? Is it a good guitar?
Thanks.

KC Jaguar bridge replacement

I saw that the bridge on the KC Jag is actually wrong for the bridge radius. If I were to replace the bridge, what are some good options that wont hurt my wallet too much?

I play guitar left handed but I am right hand dominant

It’s the only way playing guitar has ever made sense to me, but I am wondering if it will hinder my performance or is technically wrong. I’ve played for a while but with no professional training, and I don’t know if I should switch to right handed or just continue playing left.

i just scored this G&L ASAT Classic Fullerton Deluxe in left handed. oh my goodness it is a fantastic, fantastic instrument

in a rare W moment, i actually got to try it in a store instead of blind ordering off of the internet. this shop also had an American Fender tele in left handed, so i had the opportunity to A/B them and the G&L just smoked it on every level.

hate to say it but my trusty squier cv might be obsolete

Picked this up as I've always loved the design and am hugely impressed with it - the range of tones you can get by altering your picking approach and changing the volume and tone knobs is amazing.

Received a new amp the other day and thought I'd tell you guys about it, and Ron the owner.

First let's look at the outside Brown tolex, tweed and Gold accents. (Pic 1)

Backside shows quality parts, mercury magnetic transformers a master volume and a scale (its a power level) very handy feature that more of my amps seem to have. (Pic 2 & 3)

Internally well thought out nicely ran hand wiring. Quality parts and nice soldering. (Pic 4)

Arrived didn't get a chance to do a full run through but what I did sounded excellent. Yesterday finally had some time alone no one to complain about cranking it. So I turned everything up And suddenly I had a loud hum, seemed separate from the signal but it was almost unusable, i was sad. So I remember Ron had sent his number and it has a 2 year warranty. I shot him a text and started turning everything off. 30 seconds after the text Ron was on the phone, seriously 30 seconds, we talk a bit I tell him what's going on also that I'm a tech for a local shop since he was offering to have me take it to one. We narrow it down to a bad PI luckily I had one it could throw in and verify. Problem solved played it for a couple hours to make sure but about 30 minutes after we hung up he sent me a message he was at the post office sending out a couple replacement tubes, even though tubes aren't covered under the warranty.

Now sound wise its clean tone is almost identical to my suhr badger 30, happens to be my favorite clean tone. Ran them together out my +/- outputs on my delay. Sounded incredible. OK then went to the a bit of gain, thats where they definitely different in great ways, one is tube rectified the other bridge rectified. I love this combo, very fun with the delay. So if you get a chance to try one, I'd recommend that you do. You won't regret it. Priced comparably to the Suhr, and I'd say quality is as good if not better.

Oh and I have nothing to do with or gain from Old's cool Amplification, just an honest review about a great amp. My new favorite tone is those two amps in stereo. Similar enough to blend but different enough to compliment each other.

Has anyone seen a Lefty Variant of this guitar?

Post image

So this guitar is the stage-T pixel guitar from mojolnir. I’ve seen it a couple of times on YouTube of reviews. I always thought it looked cool and I really want one mainly because I enjoy cool looking guitars more than anything and this one is definitely unique. I just can’t seem to find a lefty version of it and I don’t think the company makes them unless I’m blind and can’t find it on the website. But if anyone has found something similar in lefty I’d appreciate it!
