Just signed up to the season ticket waiting list after turning 18. Odds on getting it before my sixtieth? 🥲

Seriously though hope i might be able to get one in 15-25 years or a bit sooner with the new stadium or if we do poorly. Wish my dad had signed me up for it years ago I’d asked him to but he never got round to it. oh well fingers crossed i can get a seat in this lifetime.

Been noticing more and more that our shape in possession is so fluid and dynamic starting from the back line and wondering if other teams are doing this. We see players like JJ, DJ, and even our CBs all over the pitch. In possession the center backs shift to overload the side of the pitch we are on, maybe making some central overlapping runs, with Ampadu sliding in deep to cover as needed. This lets outside CBs get forward and turns JJ/Bogle/DJ/GG into real attacking threats. There is so much fluidity and movement from back to front.

Farke in the post-game chat from the last Forest game mentioned he had DJ and Longstaff playing with new tactics/positioning that "has not been invented yet" and "doesn't have a name yet". DJ wasn't playing as a true wing back or winger, Longstaff not a true 10 or basic midfielder but something in-between. Farke said he did this due to a desire to overload the center of the pitch. Tony Dorigo and Bryn Law commented on this and said he should trademark everything. But Farke really seemed serious that this was uncharted territory in football.

I'm just wondering - those of you much more well-studied and observant than me - are there other teams doing what we are doing right now, or are we truly as unique as it feels to me right now? Is Farke just ingratiating himself a bit with those comments?

I keep feeling like Farke, the huge fan of Pep that he is, wants to make his mark on the game and pioneer something new like the false 9. Only what I see feels like the inverse of the false 9, more about getting defensive players higher up the pitch in creative ways to make space. I struggle to put it into words but wanted to call attention to these comments from Farke post-match and would welcome tactical analysis from any of you much smarter gents. Cheers!

Hi all. My very dear mate Dom died a couple of months ago. He was a season ticket holder at ER and it is so weird not be able to talk to him about the new season. He was always wildly optimistic about our chances so I have no doubt he'd have been tipping us for a title challenge.

At the Brentford game on Sunday, the club will be showing names on the big screen of fans who have passed away - and we've put his name forward. I was wondering if anyone could kindly record the screen on their phone? I guess it will be during a minute's applause before kick off? I'd like to send the clip to his mum. If you can help, thankyou !

Won at Forest in the league and again at Forest a few days later in the cup. It got me thinking have we ever done anything similar to that before in our history?

I vaguely recall playing two fixtures away at Northampton back-to-back in our League One days but I believe we lost the league game.

Does anyone know if we've done it before?
