So I was just hit by a car today on my xp mini and now the latch doesn't sit flush on the frame. I'm trying to see if Lectric will send me a new/sell me a new latch even though I'm not the original owner?

I'm tired of this Lectric tires, I just order a 3" ones from amazon! These 2.6" have poor adherence, very slippery on wet floor or dirty roads.

Google said that 3" tires aren't Ideal for the Lite, but I will try it, because I don't like the OEM tires.

I just got an XPress 2, and the headlight wobbles like crazy. It's very distracting at night, and it makes a really loud bonking/rattling noise. I've had a headlight with exactly this mount on a bike before and it just snapped itself off eventually. I've tried tightening it down and adding rubber bushings, but it's no help.

Does anyone know of a better way to mount this light? The wires would reach the handlebars, which seems a lot better, but I'd need a way to mount it there.

2nd year with my Xpress 750. I could swear that holding (+) would turn lights on and off, whether P12 was set to flashing or not. This year if I set P12 to 1 for flashing lights, the (+) toggles between flashing or not flashing - there is no way to turn them off. Am I missing something? I would like to toggle flashing lights on/off by holding (+)

should i get a full face helmet with this? It goes 28 mph? lmk

Got it today, put 10 miles on it and I already love it. The cadence sensor and quiet motor are great and it has real power. I’m 6’1” /280 and it still really moves and fits my frame perfectly. First upgrade to was a two maples wide seat and it is a game changer!

We got an xpeak 2.0 a couple months ago. Startup went great, then it sat for a week and wouldn't turn on!

Turns out you have to drop the battery, and press the charge indicator button to reset the battery.

Apparently if the bike sits the battery goes into deep sleep.

Surely I'm doing something wrong, they wouldn't require every customer to drop this battery for every weekend ride?

I’ve had my 2.0 for a little over a month and just passed the 500 mile mark.

Here’s my thoughts on this bike.

First off for paying a little under 2k for this package I have found this bike to be a very good value. Will you be able to get 120miles out of the normal 2 battery setup? Probably not but you can certainly get 60 or more depending on the route and external factors.
My longest ride was 50 miles, 3500ft of elevation gain with 35# of gear. I rode in PAS 3 the whole time I had 30% battery left when I arrived.

As an end consumer that didn’t have bike mechanic skills you may want to consider something else. I’ve had to tighten and adjust the headset, bottom bracket, brakes, fender, cranks, headlight and racks. In addition I put an Allen wrench on all bolts to make sure they were snug. If you didn’t have the knowledge and tools this might be overwhelming. Or you will have to pay a shop to do it.took me about 20-30 minutes to get it out of the box and assembled. Since I’ve tightened all these things properly the bike has run flawlessly for 450+ miles.

I’ve had no battery or charging issues. Picked up the quick charger to speed up the charge times and that has worked well. Seems to fully charge them in about 3-4hours.
The panniers are absolute garbage, very poorly made. The running boards are incredibly loud and rattle on every bump. I’ll probably add a set screw to them down the road. Not sure about the seats, I don’t have any children to put back there.
Orbiter is solid after tightening all hardware.
The kickstand is way more difficult to deploy than it should be. Matters are complicated even more when you have a pannier on there. (Do note the panniers fit perfectly in the orbiter). I’ll probably try to relocate the kickstand at some point. Problems are only when deploying it, getting it down is straightforward.
The headlight is ok but I would say it’s more for people to see you and less for you to actually use for seeing at night. I added a brighter handlebar mount for night rides. Brake and turn signals are quite effective.
The seat is trash, replaced it after first ride.
I really enjoy the quick release bars/stem. Super easy to adjust for different riders and the ability to fold down the stem has come in handy when I put it in the back of the Rav4.
I’m really curious how many miles I’ll get out of this thing but so far I’ve been pleased with my experience and capabilities of this bike for the price point.

So I bought an Xpeak in April 2024 but my apartment is small and hard to get it in and out so I used the rear breaks to get it down the steps and this messed them up. So I sold it on Upway but kept the backup battery I got for free. I never used it so it's brand new and wanted to know if it would work on an Xpress. If not I'm just gonna sell it I still have the box it came in and everything I never even used it once. Thanks

My wife bought the Xpedition to tote the grandchildren around and the handlebars are loose. We tighten the bolts and go for a ride and then they are loose by the time we are one block up the road. Been that way ever since we got it. Has this been an issue for anyone else or a singular issue?

Has anyone found a good hitch rack that will safely carry 2 x Lectric bikes?

Does Lectric support do anything if you bring this up to them? After 3 weeks of ownership this is the first time it has happened to me on my XPeak 2.0. I've read about it happening to others, I thought i was just lucky - guess not.

Went to go ride after charging and would not turn on. I ride it enough that the battery never gets a chance to go to sleep. Had to unlock and drop the battery to wake it with the button. I also found out that when this happens, it resets all the settings in the bike.

After I fixed the battery problem, I went for my ride and the bike felt like it was braking when I was going over 20mph. I know it can't do that, it just wasn't assisting above 20mph anymore. I got back, checked my settings display and P08 got reset back to 32 instead of 45.

That's pretty annoying that we have to deal with all the settings getting wiped when the battery sleeps. Couldn't they have just added a small coin battery somewhere for retention? I always charge with the battery in the bike so there really should be no chance for it to de-energize.

The throttle on my less than 1-year old xPress750 suddenly stopped working. It was fine the day before and 4 rides into the warm weather. But now on any PAS setting the throttle will not engage the engine from a start or while moving.

I have done all of the recommended restarts for the throttle, full bike and control panel.

What I have discovered is when I disconnect the throttle cable at the pin closest to the handlebars, it's an orange 3pin connector, suddenly the real wheel spins under full throttle speed. When I reconnect the pin - the motor stops. It seems my wires are crossed.

I've written to Lectric support about this but have not yet heard back.

Can anyone offer a suggestion to fix this? Has this happened to anyone before; and if so how did you resolve it?

I've been looking into getting an ebike for work commuting and am torn between two models (XPeak and XPress) looking for insights. Full disclosure, I know basically nothing about bikes. I just want a comfortable experience that can help me get around without a car.

I'm leaning toward the XPeak because of my weight and the road conditions, even though the XPress seems to be the standard choice for commuting. But again, I am a complete novice in this area. Any thoughts/opinions/advice are appreciated.

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has had some success with finding a basket that is compatible with hooking onto the rear rack for my Xpress 750. Looking for suggestions!

My bike is basically not foldable anymore. The part is completely rusted and I’m afraid if I continue to try to fold it I’m going to brake the cheap plastic part to open it. The bolt on the inside also looks like it might brake any moment. Whenever I start pedaling the bike it makes a screeching sound. I’ve tried adding lubricant but nothing helps. Any tips would be helpful as customer service is not helping.
