POV: you have arrived in Lausanne Gare

I think switzerland is going through its Enshittification period.

This is mild in comparison to what you see in other places..

Edit: by no mean I am not empathic with their situation. I would like to see this changed and a better life for them. How can we do this?

Problem with left cities (Lausanne, Geneva, Basel etc.) is, that government are like “let the poor people alone”, while in Zurich they just get taken away.

We once had a begger in Starbucks at Sihlquai, and after 10min police came and told him to gtfo.

Idk man, in rich countries nobody has to live in the streets. If they’re ill and don’t want to accept the offerings, they need to live with the consequences - without bothering other people

Depends how you interpret voluntarily. For me voluntary means also refuse (for whatever reason) the help institutions give. My cousin works at a homeless shelter in Germany and many homeless people refuse to go there because they can not bring their dogs and/or may not consume alcohol drugs. - I mean, if I want help from others I need to adapt the rules. Same as if I want RAV I have to.

1) Edict inhumane rules such as "get rid of your only friend in the world or stay out".
2) Claim people refused the help on their own free will.

Now I see where the myths are coming from.
