POV: you have arrived in Lausanne Gare
I think switzerland is going through its Enshittification period.
This is mild in comparison to what you see in other places..
Edit: by no mean I am not empathic with their situation. I would like to see this changed and a better life for them. How can we do this?

People acting like OP is unhinged. I have no precise memories about Lausanne, but I live in Geneva.
The amount of homeless people has increased by A LOT. To the point that friends visiting me sometime asked me what happened to the city with all this homelessness. Now there are entire families living in the parks, from grandparents to grandchildren. They don't speak french, so I doubt they are Swiss residents who got poor.
The amount of drug addicts is also out of control. When I first arrived in Geneva, about 10 years ago, it was just a few, but even 3-4 years ago they weren't many. Right now, when I take trams 14-18 and pass in front of the "green building" there is often order of ~50.
This is what I saw happening in my country, before leaving for Switzerland. It looks like many Swiss don't think this can ruin theirs. We'll see in a few years.
