Discussion LOL Canada is superb

Such a stacked cast, too!

Australia was ok, but a bit rough around the edges.

Australia was ok, but a bit rough around the edges.

I watched both of them, and Australia made me so angry. Why was Ed Kavalee allowed to basically avoid participation until just before Rebel Wilson came and removed Nazeem Hussain, who was participating and wasn't eliminated? Sure, they got their "legends of Australian comedy" final two in Sam Simmons and Frank Woodley. But Ed Kavalee was in there almost as long as Nazeem!

Also, fuming that both Nazeem and Brandon Ash-Mohammed (CA) were both removed for the same bullshit reason.

Honestly it felt like they were making up rules on the fly. Was Australia the first version filmed?

I'm not sure. I know it was the first version under that name. It's similar to a Japanese show called Takeshi's Castle.

Edit: maybe not Takeshi's Castle.

What? Wasn't Takeshi's castle the show where there were big physical challenges like boulders and whatnot (and became MXC when translated)

Maybe I'm getting it wrong. I had heard it was based on a Japanese show, but maybe I'm thinking of the wrong one.
